Genuinely, when was the last window this wasn’t the case?

Similar revenue etc (think we are actually ahead now) but completely different approach. And it’s not like they’ve even close to perfect on this, but they don’t need to be to outdo our work in the market.
Their owners prioritise footballing success to a much greater extent, that's the key difference. We have a better stadium and our real estate investments are also more impressive, however.

Have any Bundesliga experts watched much of Stiller?

Read some glowing reviews of him such as this: Angelo Stiller: The Diamond of the Bundesliga - Breaking The Lines

Yes. He’s good. Had been in my wishlist for a while, but also posted this recently:

I know this BuLi v PL and adjustments have to be made, and Wharton is HG, but Wharton will also cost probably double the fee and wages.

I'm really surprised nobody has shown solid moves for Stiller, although I know RM were sniffing and I get why, he's not Modric never will be, but he's kind of from the same stylistic family.

eg:

He would be good ST competition for Solanke. Not an elegant player but good in the air and plenty mobile in attack.

I’m surprised we have the funds to afford a backup striker like him.
Wissa would be an underwhelming signing compared with other strikers out there IMO. But I guess he slightly improves our starting side. Solanke becomes a back up striker which will suit him better.

Stunning player- absolutely worth breaking the bank for. Would be doing better if he weren’t so overshadowed by other more selfish talent at RM.
You clearly haven’t seen enough of Rodrygo. His ball skills are far superior to Vini’s.
Yeah I mean data is important and his goal involvement really fell off a cliff last year and I'm not sure what the deal is with that.

But there aren't 10 players in the world who pass the eye test more than Rodrygo. Just effortlessly glides wherever he wants on the pitch with the ball glued to his foot. Makes the game look laughably easy.

And of course, there's absolutely no way this will actually happen.

Rodrygo, probably my top 3 of favourite players in world football.

So underrated. But we can dream right? Our south American contingent would love this, romero, bentacur, richy.

Surely no chance but in football we can dream.

I actually think Winks could have made it but had all his best traits coached out of him under different managers. He was uniquely good on the ball for his age when he first broke on the scene and was almost elite at receiving the ball on the turn and playing through the lines. But we never really played possession based football under Mourinho, Nuno or Conte so the best part of his game was never really utilized and his confidence went and he never got it back.

I do think your environment is everything. If Busquets was born in England and dumped into the Championship at a young age, I think he'd have been eaten alive. Not enough legs for midfield and doesn't score, assist or make enough tackles! Even though his profile was unique and IQ were off the charts

Winks was overrated because he was one of ours. Same as Skipp and many others.
Any of them play for a rival and come through their academy, and we'd take the piss.

I swear half the Rodrygo hype is just because Brazilian + plays for Madrid.

He is a very good winger - if either Liverpool or Arse gets them he's an upgrade on Diaz and definitely Marteinelli. But he's not near world class or 100m player territory. He's a good supporting attacker, not a star. The guy has 7 in 33 for Brazil and 32 in 172 for Madrid.

OK he's a wide player but his creative numbers aren't all that either. He's very hard working and imo would hit 10+ goals 7+ assists in the Prem but nothing earth shattering.
Mainly, we need a LCB, LB, DM, CF and even a goalie before we need a Rodrygo.

Wissa would be an underwhelming signing compared with other strikers out there IMO. But I guess he slightly improves our starting side. Solanke becomes a back up striker which will suit him better.
You think he’s better than Solanke? I don’t think he is but I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree. I don’t really feel like we need him but I want to give Frank the benefit of the doubt.

I mostly just think there’s no way we’ll offer him what he will consider a respectful, proper wage for a player of his caliber.

I agree.

The day that Tottenham are a serious contender and suitable destination for a player like is when we are finally competing and the club is where it should be.

Only hope is huge investment, a truly statement signing to go with, and the chance for rodrygo to be the new face of Tottenham hotspur.

Every day of transfer windows at Tottenham is like opening an advent calendar door at Christmas. Pure excitement!

I wonder what will be behind today's door!

DISAPPOINTMENT.

Unlucky, dickhead. Better luck tomorrow.

Hahahahaha, go fuck yourself.

From Daniel Levy.
