Be careful. Some on here will have you believe Gentle Ben is still a solid squad option.
The Sonny stuff I can understand, have no issues with him staying another year as long as he’s not expecting to be a started for the bulk of our games. Personally think it would be better for him to leave now, without it really tarnishing his image if he continues to regress.
Bissouma I’m sure we’ll find a suitor for, although the fee will be negligible.
More concerned about the likes of Solomon, who clubs seem to have wanted, but have gone awfully quiet. And Gil, god knows what where he’ll go, another loan to Sevilla, and leaving on free once his contract is done.

It's why we'd be lucky to get 15m for Bissouma when he'd go for 30m if he played for Chelsea.
Not really although thats doesn't help. Not sure about Spain but in siciliy where my family are from it hits temps of 35°-40° every summer yet come most winters they have huge snowfall to the point where you couldn't leave ur house.

Why not just go full send and get teemu or wish as the stadium naming rights.
He will improve a few players but he isnt a miracle worker. If we want to be a Brighton or Brentford perhaps the ticket prices should reflect that?
I’ll be honest, I haven’t really paid enough attention to him to have a real opinion, I’m genuinely asking if he’s all that.

He isn't that kind of manager though is he, he kept Brentford in the PL on the lowest net spend for how many seasons?
I think we will give him enough to make us compete for 5th place, our only glimmer of hope is we have some really good Young players and if we can get MGW over the line and some of the like of Bergvail improve on last season then I think we could have a really good competitive squad but the worry is we were already so far behind the likes of City and Pool etc and they are all strengthening like mad.
If we mess up this season and don't get CL again next season then I don't think we ever bridge that gap with the top 4 , our only hope is they all fuck off to a Super league

We really needed to be getting a few more in by this stage especially when you consider how poor we were in the league last season.
Levy talked about winning the league, well actions speak louder than words and so far there is very little. Yet are so called competitors (not last season, but generally) continue to strengthen.
Kudus will be a good signing but we need a lot more quality in, especially in forward areas if we're serious about giving Frank a good shot at this.
It does feel like a typical window thus far and yet the same ones pop every summer saying...it's only x amount of weeks in ffs....like they've been living on the fucking moon for the last 20 years and are oblivious to how this usually plays out.
If we haven't brought in at least one more first eleven player by time we go on tour it's going to be extremely underwhelming so far.

Any club's gotta cut their cloth according to their own situ; not who the fans hate....... I especially don't for a second expect us to financially dick-measure with CFC cos that club is just a 25 year long scam.
I already said earlier in the window (in view of Levy's "win the EPL" comment) that; whilst he most likely thinks that lightning can strike again like it (nearly) did under Poch, I don't believe it likely. I've also for many years said I think we can afford to spend a bit more; just not enough to make me feel like rioting.
The biggest detriment has been how many dud trfs we made prior to Parratici's arrival.
