Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The investment talk wasn't just twitter talk, it was also being reported by journalists.

You're missing the point anyway. I'm saying that it's so far fetched to think/believe we would spend that amount of money on 2 starters that the general consensus from social media/journalists was that we've had a cash investment ffs.

You aren’t correct. Mentioning two youth players we signed is embarrassing mate, sort it out.

We have signed one first team player this summer. We haven’t even got close to signing even another player who strengthens our squad, let alone the first team.

Even Norgaard who was Brentford captain walks into our team. So does Gyokores. Zubimendi. And apparently they want Eze too.

Madueke is a very good bench signing.

Who the fuck have we signed? Kudus. Even if you want to stretch and pretend Tel is a new signing, the jury is well out on him.

MGW would really help us but he isn’t here yet. Maybe he won’t be.

So far with our summer business we needed to close the gap on Woolwich. On the contrary, they’ve widened it.

How can it be Woolwich finish 2nd and we finish 17th, yet they are the ones who do more and better business? Ask yourself that?

Danso strengthens our squad.

But then again I guess in your eyes, he doesn't count because Levy didn't pay 70mil for him.

Since I put those rodent goon cunts Deuterz and John Thomas on ignore, this thread has been so much nicer to read. 🙂

On another note, IF we have been speaking to RM regarding Rodrygo I wouldn’t be surprised if talks of Romero (for next summer) moving the other way also happened.

The City news is interesting. My wild speculation is that the rest of the PL also think Forest are being assholes and don’t want to go anywhere near setting a precedent that release clauses don’t matter anymore.

The PL big boys want no part of that, release clauses are important.
