I think any decision ultimately comes down to money. If we value Son at 20m, and with his 10m salary, it does beg the question if that 30m would be better invested in a new player. Spurs have made a pretty decent investment in Tel - but I suspect his preferred position with be centre forward.

Ah yes, Danso was technically done in January—but sure, let’s keep playing transfer window hopscotch. Why stop there? Let’s go ahead and count Richarlison under Postecoglou too, just for fun. This season’s impact? Great. But if we keep retrofitting deals like this, we’ll end up with another Kulusevski and Porro situation—where somehow their money spent became Ange’s fault.

In case anyone hadn’t noticed I’m a sceptic about our transfer strategy , I see it to be a frequently disingenuous house of smoke and mirrors . I think MGW will get done although history tells me not to believe . However Marinakis is to angry for it not to be a real attempt at signing him . I think it is the owner just putting down a marker to amnyone that if you manage to put one over on him he will be very difficult .

All guess work of course but I still think it happens despite my lack of faith in our own owners tranfer strategy .

We shall see

If you can't see that we are falling further and further behind Woolwich then your head is simply buried in the sand.

The gap is the biggest its been for nearly 20 years and they've strengthened again while we've sat still. I hope it changes but right now I hate the gap between us and them!
