He does improve us. It would be the first proper DM we've had since Wanyama.

It would give the other two CMs more licence to go forward so would suit a Maddison + MGW partnership.

No more brain farts and general sloppiness in front of the defence. Would make us much harder to beat.

Palhinha does not fix us but he does improve us.

Yes it would. MGW is not just a good 10 he's just so good all over the pitch at playing all kinds of passes turning fairly normal possession into a cutting edge attack.
He won't solve everything but he will help the impact the front players can have on the game.

Not just no Maddison though was it tbf.....

No Bentancur
...And Bergvall behind many in terms of fitness as he not long back from injury.

Playing 2 games today exposed those absences 2 fold. 1 game would still have been a struggle, but 2....?

This shows how average we are..We've brought in West Hams best player and he's also our best (maybe 2nd) player. At the top 4 clubs, he'd be the 10th/11th best player
