Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We have bought one new player when Levy promised the title. All the big boys have strengthened while we go backwards.Has the penny dropped with Frank that he ain’t getting much help from the balding idiot

Been an awful summer window so far, no getting away from that. Again the tone was set by the Davies renewal and making Tel permanent. Not the actions of a serious club. Left wing was always a priority as well even though people thought it was only right side that was weak. I’m not fully convinced on Kudis either to be honest. Think hes going to frustrate teammates and fans alike with his decision making.

I like MGW a lot but not confident that gets done. When a transfer looks difficult, how often do we pull it off?

Romero & Porro both recent examples of deals that fans gave up on.

Even if we somehow signed Yamal, Kvara, Barcola or Nico Williams to play LW, that squad gets nowhere near the top teams.

Keeper ain't reliable enough. Romero don't wanna be here. Micky is a hamstring injury waiting to happen. The only dog Udogie has is in his name. Palhinha ain't fit to lace Wanyama or Dembele's boots. Maddison gasses faster than David Haye. Solanke is a top kid but an average CF.
Not talking about the overall squad or reliability over a season but purely putting together a decent XI that would give anyone a game.

I do think our defenders are slightly overrated (Udogie in particular) but they have generally been solid when all are fit and firing.
