Yeah so he head a low point after months of abuse from what should be his own supporters / fanbase? Yeah was absolutely a mistake but these things happen. People are quick to forget the numerous times he defended the club with chest in interviewers. Spoke about the awful press / decisions this club gets over others. Never took the easy way out like Conte ( who was a great manager )

Ange WAS to Dare to do. Ange was charismatic. Ange WASN'NT Ex-chelski or passed down from another premier League club. Ange was Spurs. The Tottenham that Tottenham used to be before Enic rocked up.

Maybe one day when you're done lurking on internet forums and chatting absolute waffle you'll realise the levels Ange went to in order to be the best manager for us he could be.

If only 99% of the fanbase had backed him rather than just 50%. Maybe at this point we wouldn't just have a pile of excuses for why the deadwood hasn't been ruthlessly sold or excluded?

Maybe then we would have signed a few more experienced players like he was requesting and we were all asking for?

Ohh... And maybe the Ange pull we all know he had would have been enough for MGW to push through this move and we wouldn't be the biggest laughing stock in football once again THIS soon after winning a bloody European trophy.

Because there is zero urgency from the owners.

What people don't seem to be grasping right now, not only have we stood pretty still after posting record losses last season but on top of that we have an insane demand on the squad with the CL AND every so called rival at the top has massivley improved.

Or as a fan base are we just shrugging our shoulders now that our realistic rivals now are the likes of Bournemouth?

He has an opportunity to salvage this window by bringing in a couple of quality signings, get some fans back on his side.

But let's face it. That's just not going to happen. I think what's more likely is that this marks the beginning of the end for Levy.

Failing to drastically improve the squad after they finished 17th in the league despite being the 8th richest club in world football is absolutely unforgivable. If we have a poor season, there is no one else to blame but him.

We werent going to get the MGW deal done when they threatened legal action no matter if ange was here or not. But if we're not going to back frank then whats the point.

Can't remember; can we draw other EPL teams in the 1st phases of the new format?

..........If not; that means we pretty much dodge the majority of big teams (RMadrid being the exception). : phew :

Think back to last January and how desperate it was for some squad depth to be added by 1 Jan and they basically did fuck all except inexplicably sign a Keeper we probably never needed, and a teenager no one wanted. Farce time and time and time and time and time and time and time….

This is delusional.

Ange was supported at a level no other Spurs manager has been in living memory. All because of the mate aura. He consistently disrespected the club and the fans. Good riddance, he sucks.

This isn't how it works anymore, the pots are relatively meaningless. Everyone just draws 2 from pot 1, 2 from pot 2, and so on. No one from the same country though.

And I don't think the EL winner actually gets pot 1 anymore anyhow, because it's not really competitively meaningful anymore.
