It's a big loss for us but an even bigger loss for MGW's career, will probably never play Champions League football, will probably miss out on a World Cup squad place if Tuchel stands by his words. It's all well and good thinking he can sign for a City/Liverpool in 3 years when his contracts up but football just doesn't work like that, gaps sometimes naturally appear in squads and sometimes they don't a la this season when pretty much the 6 biggest teams in the country have starters that are better/fit their systems better than him.
