I'm all for questioning our transfer approach but I think most of us were pretty okay with January until Maddison/Kulusevski/Son pretty much immediately died.
 
MGW is a fukwit, if he really wanted to move he would have put in a TF request .... maybe not straight away for optics ... 2 weeks pass radio silence nothing more we could do as the clause in contract is between him & fattynakis forest that forest were not honoring so issue betwee him n club. We triggered the clause no more from our end technically / legally. (Hope Paulinhla 2 foots that Gimp-White )

He wasn't really supported though was he. Not really.

I never rated Ange as a manager at this level but he lost Kane and was given Solanke a year late to replace him and a wedge of money was spent on a bunch of kids who may or may not come good in the future.

Ange was a problem. But he wasn't THE problem

Correct.

As things stand we are in Pot 2, but it is likely that 2 of the 5 teams in the qualifying stage with better coefficients will qualify and that will drop us down to Pot 3.

But it is irrelevant as you play 2 from every pot including your own. Technically if there was 5 teams from country in same pot, then the rules say you can draw teams from same country, but won’t be the case here.
