Why would you embellish this sort of stuff?

He clearly is a passionate Spurs supporter who resents the regime but loves the club.

We all realise there is a hardcore minority who will crawl up Levy's arse no matter what, for reasons which are less than obvious, but trying to undermine a genuine supporter's Spurs credentials for ENIC's bullshit is a waste of everyone's time.

The people engaging in this type of activity clearly support ENIC and Levy more than the football club.

Where do you fit in?
I'm not sure I'll go that far, I'd like to think we're all hardcore spurs fans first and want our team to be the best, and also want the best for our team. We just have different strategies of how to get there.

I wouldn't want us to get relegated, though, but I can understand that some people don't have reached their limits; and some of us are just plain anarchists (I am too, at times). But, I'd like to believe that we're all spurs fans.

I'm worried about Shadydan Shadydan

Still missing

I'm thinking of putting up some missing posters down my street

Does anyone by any chance know if he was microchipped ?

Probably done what a few of us should do, and take some time out.

Right now, I think Newcasle and us are in virtually the sane boat. Note Villa have done zero so far unless it's passed me by.

It's the weirdest window I can recall but there is also little doubt that without 2 or 3 quality sognings, it will have to be considered poor.

I think it's important,t, regardless of who h way you sway re: ENIC/Levy to recognise when we are not showing enough ambition, over being taken the p!ss out of us as a club.

But we have some leverage and we have to use it.

Our youngsters, some of whom look promising have to learn by example. I am unsure how that can happen with this current squad.

It needs improvement.

This, in a nutshell, is it.

If Levy / ENIC sold up, a huge dark cloud would finally be lifted from our football club.
The fans would come together and a whole new wave of optimism would wash over us.

It's been 25 years. It's too long.. They simply have to go.

FFS grow up mate, how do you know the circumstances of the move failing?

We won the EL last season, this "It's been 25 years. It's too long" bollocks sounds like something a child would come up with, were you stomping your feet when you typed that?

MGW move collapsing to another club isn't a one off, and happens most seasons for whatever reasons.

Better the player backs out now than wanting out mid-season.

We will move on to another player, by season start this bollocks will be forgotten, and rightly so, but blaming the club without knowing the full facts is something that fickle fans jump to for no good reason but to show their immaturity.

The sad thing is we knew how much ground there was to make up, then all the other clubs decided to strengthen from a position of strength leaving us well and truly languishing in a firm sea of mediocrity that will take huge amounts of competence to undo. Ergo we are fucked. If you were on the fence about renewing your season ticket this year, this might be smarting somewhat

If you are talking about the players Scouse, Woolwich, Chavs and United have signed none would have come to Spurs, so we are not really "languishing" behind our rivals.

The time to judge is at 3.00pm on the first day of the PL season, when we kick off against Burnley.

He's currently locked in a 2 day seminar hosted by Levy on how to defend Levy despite all the evidence against Levy.

Makes me sick.

I'm angry we aren't doing more in the market., although absolutely unbothred re: Gibbs-White, who I don't think is top notch.

But it's not a constant tirade simply to suit a narrative. Its so fcuking boring.

THFC is all that matters.
I'm open minded on the topic and whilst I defend the right of all to criticise or praise as they see fit I also selfishly claim the legitimacy of opinion for those who pay through the nose year in year out.

Doesn't mean the 'armchairs' opinions have no value but it is often the non attenders imo who appear to be the ones who shout/incite the most yet rarely get off their 'arris to do anything about the current situation when they should be the people out there organising and leading the protests.

I accept the cacophony is often generated by a mixture within the no show group of those unable to attend and those who gave up going for a variety of reasons but maybe it is time to call them out and suggest they either do something about it, stop repeating themselves or STFU.

Harvey Elliot, haha.

We are literally turning into Everton. Nearest rivals signing elite players and challenging for the top honours, whilst we take cast offs from the top teams and pretend we are ambitious, it''s so depressing.

We all know that we won't be competing with Scouse by spending 130m on one player.

We all know that Levy (unlike Woolwich) will be spending a billion pounds in five seasons on players.

We will never be giving incoming players eight years contracts like Chavs.

It's not "depressing" if we look at our transfer policy with some realistic expectations, given our history.

We have no Knight in shining armour racing in to buy the club, and even if there was, that doe's not mean that they will spend, spend, spend.

Let's look at the squad after the transfer window closes, we have made five signings so far, and can debate their worth now or in the future, but these signings were agreed by Frank.

Why not trust what Frank wants rather than us all playing Fantasy Manager and scatter gunning a wish list that is unrealistic player targets that will never happen.

This shit show is actually hitting worse than others because I stupidly actually started to believe that things might have actually changed. We won a major European trophy, seemed to back Frank by getting in staff he wanted, signed Kudus and next day we were signing 60m MGW and talk of finally some investment.
This is why this one hits different cos I'm actually pissed with myself for thinking things might have changed.
This just reaffirms what most of knew, we have owners who don't give a shit about competing or doing what's best for the football club they only care about the entertainment business.
couldn't agree more. i'm almost more mad at myself than the club but it's the club that's taking advantage of my love and that makes them worse. i truly don't know how to go forward with this club anymore. it's an athletic competition and we don't compete. how are we supposed to get behind that? aren't we making it worse by supporting them?

after the disaster of last season, if we go into this one with one new starter level signing then what is the point of watching this shit again? there can be no doubt about where the ownership of this club stands at this point. football is not their priority and unless you just love big concerts and go carts, what is the point of being a spurs supporter?

If we really were about to trigger the £60m release clause and have been stopped, then we must have (at least m) £60m to play with.

So go and fucking play with it THFC.
If this window peters out, then there needs to be venomous fan backlash.
