Sign rodrygo who is world class and suddenly things flip. Yes we would be short in other areas still but suddenly having kudus and rodrygo on the wings is frightening to play against, even for the best teams in the world. From there we have a very solid season and suddenly next summer other top players see spurs as a club on the up, a club with top players like rodrygo, vdv, romero and whoever else and we are suddenly back in the game.
Please can we just go all out and try? Just 1 top top player even if we're short elsewhere instead of dividing funds up and buying 4 players for the same price.
