Aaaand there it is, Lange also on the tour.

What is the gormless prick doing in HK? He should be in Europe getting deals lined up.

So what advantage would there be in Lange being stuck in an office at Hotspur Way?

Surely when the transfer situation is fluid having the Chairman, Technical Director and Manager in the same geographical location to discuss issues in real time as they arise is beneficial?!

For me, to appease the loss of MGW, Levy needs to go and get Eze for the 68m quoted!

Gibbs-White was not a big loss, but I agree it needs a quality signing to allow it to be set to one side.

It's all or much about perceptions, and it left us looking bad, although I really don't think Gibbs-White would have offered much more than greater squad depth.

We are desperate for players who can improve the team.

In Europe, operating on European time, 2 hours flight from anywhere to meet an agent or a club.

Here’s a wild thought, Levy and Vinai shouldn’t have gone on the tour either during the window.

Re Eze, the athletic are reporting that Arse won’t meet the release clause of 60M and will only bid if Palace reduce their asking price…..

Man I want this lad at Tottenham so bad! He’d be so loved by our fans!

I agree

If we’ve got high profile sponsors involved in the tour, they expect the club leadership team to be present. It’s how business is done.

Couple that with being close by to the manager who’s opinion is the most important, the advantages outweigh the negatives IMHO.

Surely Mikey Moore, Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett have more to gain from being on tour, yet they are at home to sort out potential loans. Sounds like they've got to sort out their own shit while those that should be looking after their futures are having a ball.

Yes, it's just what I'm seeing from the outside, I don't really know; but it's not a good look. I'm edging more and more towards ENIC out

It's getting annoying that we go on these tours when it's clear that money spinning is the prime objective, and preparing for the season ahead is merely a secondary concern that they fit in around media duties.

In doing so we sacrifice:

- Concerted preparation for the season to come;
- Progression of transfer activity;
- A Supercup fixture against the SAM continental competition winners with another trophy (however minor) up for grabs;
- Proper rest and recuperation due to time-zones/travel time.

I'd say hopefully this all ends once Son leaves, but the likelihood is it doesn't, as the club will want to cling on to the Sonny afterglow for as long as possible, and will be hoping that Yang captures the imagination over there in a similar fashion. Also plenty of other clubs do it despite not having the ties tat we do due to Son.

I suppose at least we're playing proper opposition and an XI made up of part time sailors from Shanghai this time around.
Yeah, it would be annoying if every other PL club didn’t do the same.

Isn’t that the role of their agent?

Agent/club then decide together on the best option for development from the list of potentials loans the agent has received?

No point.

The player wants to go to Woolwich,and like too many players at present, don't seem to want to be part of the challenge to that big 4.

That's what Frank/Levy need to collectively change, in part wages, and the other aspect is what we see on the pitch.
