If there is one thing he is, it is creative, I actually think how Man City play has limited the strengths in his natural playing style.
He is a class player and tbh, we really missed out when we had the chance to get him from Villa IMO. Would bring a lot to the squad, especially with Madders out.
We shouldn't even be talking about him on loan as we should be all in for the best players tbh, but we never are.

Yes its definitely an interesting one. Hes come on alot this season and perfoes pretty well in the big games v madrid, althletico. I suppose barca may see him as one to sacrifice. The whole story could be bollox anyway.
It could be a case that we need somebody to play and dictate once palhinha wins it. As I said his mid to long passing to set runners away is pretty good. I think right now when we win the ball and brennan/kudus/odobert are looking for the quick early ball to be released we have nobody who can do that apart from porro and thats not enough. So it makes sense to have that centrally where we will be strong.

They were indeed dark days under Sugar, he did stabilise the club but as mentioned earlier it was always a relief to get to 40 points every season. Before he took over I had a season ticket for 5 seasons first on the shelf standing then had to have seat, the new East Stand was awful especially with the posts!

Souness was right a while back about grealish. Dont have much in the locker. Hugs the byline, cuts inside or dives. Never rated him. Bad signing if we get him.

Difficult to know why Citeh bothered buying Grealish especially for the money they paid.
Both Grealish’s and Calvin-Philips’ careers have nose dived under Pep.
You have to wonder if Pep can be a bit like Jose and bin off a player as some sort of statement. I’ll never forgive Jose for wasting Bale’s loan with us minimising his game time.
Frank was brought in to develop players remember. Tbh i think transfer moves have started with loan players being shipped out. Incomings will be next imo.
