you'd have thought that knowing with the likely once in a generation super cup final against PSG where the whole world will be watching the game we'd have really pushed the boat out a bit. especially considering how poor we were last season

For your information - adult persons don't do multi-million deals on totally on the limb assumptions. About what he might or might not be in the future. You just presented my 100% random thing from your fantasy, at the point there is even no real information about his injury specifics. And then expect others to act upon your fantasy? :D You are brilliant little thing, aren't ya :D .

Pal, again that's a clear case of the club not doing its due diligence.

Maddison has never played a full league season in his career, was out for several weeks each season during his time at Leicester. Never was a 90min player either.

But yeah he only wanted Spurs, was affordable in fees & wages, and he can do some nice tricks with the football.

I am also bit pissed about the current state of affairs, but don't have to make up crap like this.

90% of club football fans care about this as much as club world cup.
For Spurs fans it is obviously huge, but "once in a generation where the whole world will be watching" :D ?

We were crap in the nineties once Sugar dismantled the FA cup winning team . The nineties was dire end of .

Now I love Bale , he has a very strong case to be the greatest British Player of all time . However you criticised Klinsman as a washed up 30 year old he set the prem alight and moved to Bayern . Jose never gave Bale a fair crack but he was physically more spent than Jurgen and quit football once Wales were knocked out . You can’t have it both ways , if you perceived Klinsman was washed up the perception of Bale due to persistent injuries was he was ready for the knackers yard . He had hardly played any football because even when fit he was at war with Madrid .

Edit: but I repeat the asswipe Jose did not treat him fairly imho
