Indeed.

And there it is. You think there are "sides," and one must be one one or the other, so you spend your time sniping at those you perceive to be on the opposite side to you.

There are two different opinions on here, the irony is that both sides actually have good points, you're just not prepared to accept that.

When I say you're, I'm referring to both btw.

I'm not in either camp. I can see the good that our ownership have done for the club over the years, but I can also see where they are holding us back. The difference is that I choose not to bleat about it every single day.

We have no idea how this coming season is going to pan out for us, none of us, so all the sniping, insulting and outright unpleasantness on here is nothing more than people using the situation as an excuse to take bites out of each other. Your "Super fans" dig is a prime example of that.

FWIW, I think the window has been absolutely shite up to now, but the window isn't closed yet, so how about reserving judgement until it is? As far as I can see, that's pretty much all that is being said by those you perceive as the "opposition."

If we don't do anything significant between now and the end, I'm pretty sure that we ALL will be mightily pissed off with the club for what will be an abject failure.
😂Superfan my arse...there are only 2 types of fan those who attend and those who don't.

Throw into the mix fans who have given up, whether for being priced out or reaching their patience threshold and of course let's not forget the armchair experts who have never been to a game in their life and don't intend changing that.

POV from the fanbase is largely influenced by the era's ie The Glory Years....and what followed. The modern day PL fan appears to see league position has the priority over actually winning something and this is a direct consequence of those who control the game changing the structure of qualification for prestige competitions for financial reasons rather than merit.

Afters years in mid table mediocrity the new goal appeared to be finish 'top four' and when that happened without winning anything it became 'concentrate on a cup' ...now we've won a 🏆 it's concentrate on the league....and so it goes on.:frankarms:

I’ve never even heard of them, let alone spoken about them 😂

Both lefty 10’s that do it all and look built for the Prem physically. Both early 20’s but about to take the next step to being stars.

Personally, I’d go after Paz first. We have a big draw for Argentine players and if we got Romero on the phone we could get him. Real have some buy back shit we’d need to sort out but I think they’d want the money because they have several youngsters in his position already

Levy will wait until the big PL clubs have done their business then haggle over whatever’s left. It’s what he always does. Levy will not go for a player if there is any chance of a bidding war with one of the CL teams.

Correct. This is the way he's done business for many years.

His whole "strategy" is wait until the big clubs have signed who they want to sign, and then we make a move, low balling clubs right before the deadline, trying to get a good deal, offering lower wages because we aren't competing with Woolwich or Chelsea etc

All to the detriment of the football team, manager and fans, just so he can say he won the deal.

It will never ever change until Levy is gone.

I just hope it doesn't become a situation where he's still here until he's 90.

Feasibly we could have another 30 years of this. He'd see most of us off. lol

Our only hope is he goes, and we get owners who want to actually pump their own money into the club, spend to win.

Then we can finally compete with the other big PL clubs.

So apparently few weeks ago we had MGW coming in as an attacker.

Few weeks later, sons gone, maddisons broken long term and the plan is still the same except it will be a cheaper alternative to MGW.

On top of that no LW or LB but we will get a 'solid' Cb

Its diabolical.
It’s clear MGW was not a major target and we only moved for him when the powers that be got wind that we could pull a stroke and get him on the cheap. We’ve been “monitoring” him for years, probably since his early Wolves days, but only when we sensed an opportunity to get him cheap did we move.

Similar situation to Maddison. How many years were we linked with him. Year after year. When did we actually go for him? When Leicester were relegated and had to sell him.

We go for low risk, bare minimum opportunity signings. Always reactionary, never pro active in trying to improve the squad.

oh hell no GIF
