Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Newcastle will.leave themselves in sh!t creek if they sell Isak this summer, more so than when we lost Kane as we still had the firing Son.

Newcastle fans must be gutted but the food chain doesn't change easily

This feels like the summer that the food chain died

There’s a separate Premier League for Liverpool, City, Chelsea, United and Woolwich are like a boomerang club… then the rest of us like Villa, Newcastle and Spurs are effectively in the Championship A Division

Things get better at Emptycrates

Woolwich 1-3 Villareal

and Gyokeres subbed off after 60 mins, with Spurs old boy Danjuma getting the 3rd goal

Ended with Woolwich 2nd successive 'friendly' defeat , 2-3 to Villareal despite new striker Gyokeres starting.

As one delighted Woolwich fan said to BBC 'This is groundhog day, I've seen this match 1000 times. Dominate possession, fail to capitalise, get caught on the counter, easy goal. We've gone backwards if anything.

Possibly.

It's got quite an unreal feel thats for sure, but it won't last.

I think part of my surprise is the lack of anything to compete from the likes of Real Madrid,if not Barcelona because of their financial difficulties.

Its as though those 4 teams mentioned (plus United) have been given a billion pounds to spend as they want, before anyone else can move. Weird as fcuk.

People seem to be taking this Baleba to United as a done deal, Ornestein literally says all parties accept it may be unrealistic and Brighton don't want to sell..

Jesus we desperately need a few players to be linked with so we've something to talk about.

This has to be the biggest transfer window spending in premier league this window. Getting way out of hand tbh. Players are on way too much money imo. Theyre footballers ffs not gods. I love my club but its getting too excessive now and probably has since abramovich waved his dosh. Tbh starting to go off it.
