The one thing I would say about Paz is, it shows we are definitely targeting the right type of profile, which is reassuring.

Snapshot - Argentinian, came through RM’s system, was incredibly highly rated by them but due to huge amount of competition they sold him on very very favourable terms last summer with very low buy back options. Was a big coup for those who follow youth football. He’s a classic left footed 10, beautiful first touch, incredible passing vision and range, silky ball progression, puts in an defensive shift and he’s like 6ft2 or 6ft3 so is physically built for the PL. At only 20 he already runs Como’s attack and is pivotal player. There is zero question in my mind that he will be an elite 10 and be able to contribute off the bat for us.
I doubt we get him but I have mentioned him numerous times because I think he’s top top class.

That's like 61m pounds. Even 50m which is 57.6m euros seems steep to me. Very risky

With the Maddison ACL news we need to be looking at a new first choice AM. ACL is career changing, he'll never be the same. Before this I would have said El Khannouss would have been a good option, I still rate him as a player, but we need to be willing to splash £60 - £70m to get a top first choice AM in.
