I know it won't happen because it hasn't for 25 years but for once can we just show some fucking ambition and go all out for top players. The type of signings where other teams go "wow". For example, criticise Chelsea all you want but you can at least see they are fucking ambitious and want to actually be at the top. I do not feel that with Levy.

Can't tell how you feel about that from the tone of your message, feel as though there is much more to be opinionated about in 2025 than years past as a Spurs fan and I had quite a bit more patience for ENIC when we pivoted from Poch to José so quickly and seemed like we had levelled up as a club, as well as the likes of GLC and N'dombele not necessarily being write-offs at that point, still having Kane and prime Son, still having hope that we could rebuild Dele. The club has gone right down the swanny in the last 5 years and would love to see some direction again.

I hear you- not judging, just observing. There’s definitely much to discuss these days. Was merely noting our friend here has changed (imo)!
 
Make no mistake about it, Levy sacked Ange because of his insistence to publicly state we made a "mistake" last season with our transfer business and we needed to buy proven players this window.

Levy didn't give a fuck about the 22 loses and the 17th place finish. If Ange carried on spouting the same company line Levy would have looked past all that and justified keeping him with the Europa win.

Franks a very good coach but let's not kid ourselves here. He was hired because he probably made it very clear he would conform and accept the bullshit.

Chelsea are spending nearly all of their money on unproved kids tbf
 
Striker creative midfielder and a left winger is a necessity. And they need to be fucking good players unlike the shit we already have playing in there like odobert,tel,johnson,Richarlison. We need some actual quality in this squad because we don't have bodo/twente level teams to fall back on this year. Season starts next Wednesday.
