If we finally make a marquee level signing and it’s Nicholas fucking Jackson then for sure Levy is just doing it out of malice against the fans

They won't be favourites simply because we're at home.....but yes, you've got to say it's a 50/50 game currently.I agree. Shameful, and we don't need to necessarily spend huge amounts.
At this rate Burnley could well start as favourites on Saturday week.
If Bryan Gil played for Chelsea they would have a deal agreed to sell him for £60m to Woolwich by now even if he had the same number of minutes he's got for us. Fucking bizarre. My fucking sides
Thing is, for some reason they do really well on their sales and some mug will spend that on him.
Yep. I've lowered my expectations massively. Not going to allow Spurs to piss me off like they did all league campaign last year. Expecting to finish around 8th to be honest. New manager hasn't been backed. Our attacking options are woeful. Pure negligence and incompetence. Is anyone else finding it really difficult to get excited about this season? Here we are with what seems to be a good manager, we'll be playing CL football... yet we all know this will end in tears. It will probably start in tears as well. Purely due to a lack of any ambition.
70mil for a 20yo with 40 pro games to his name aint smart, brother.
Yeah fabregas is a cunt.70mil for a 20yo with 40 pro games to his name aint smart, brother.
You know what I think of Levy & his ways, but if we did bid 40mil, that's a reasonable fee for that lad. Como gotta get real, but then again their manager absolutely despises us so whatever he can do to make our lives harder, he sure will...really wouldn't put it past that greasy cunt to tell his board he'd quit if they did business with us.
I agree with you. For me, it's the lack of a leader within the group. Son left, and we no longer have any role models. That player who takes responsibility and makes things happen. Is anyone else finding it really difficult to get excited about this season? Fucking love you, brother.Mate got rid of mine a year ago. Not buying Merch that comes from club licensing. Got my vintage shirt I wear when I went away last season ( from the 1991 season). Now im fully out. I worked out that I was giving the club about 4 and a half k a year and have done for around 15 years. Its simply not value for the emotional shafting we are getting. Im using that five grand to rent a Villa for 10 days on an exclusive Greek island with a very beautiful woman. I can't stop caring but I can stop being complicite in my own defrauding.
Just like Palhinha. Some still believe it's only a loan when it's so obvious we'll sign him permanently next summer. Levy never gonna miss an opportunity to sign a decent name for 25mil. And if he has a shite season, he'll still sign him...will just haggle it done some more with Bayern.

Exactly. The thing to bear in mind with injuries like Maddisons is that these players are heavily insured by the clubs. An old Uni mate of mine specialises in football insurance in the City. Obviously it doesn't cover all of the cost but it isn't like we're shelling out wages and unable to pay for replacements - some of the costs of the injury will be covered by long term injury insurance.
Not against the best.Mad to think Ange managed a system in which we were one of the highest scoring in the league isn't it![]()
Yeah and Jose was happy with Rodon, while Conte signed off on Danjuma. We have brought in five players, all approved by Frank, and we are still looking at at least two others.
