Yep. I've lowered my expectations massively. Not going to allow Spurs to piss me off like they did all league campaign last year. Expecting to finish around 8th to be honest. New manager hasn't been backed. Our attacking options are woeful. Pure negligence and incompetence.
 
We dont upgrade the team and squad we are going down next season. Were either short of money, frank thinks he has enough to get most out of squad. Bad cocktail of failure. Its so plainly obvious we need 3, 4 or 5 top quality players. In despair really the state we are in.

You know what I think of Levy & his ways, but if we did bid 40mil, that's a reasonable fee for that lad. Como gotta get real, but then again their manager absolutely despises us so whatever he can do to make our lives harder, he sure will...really wouldn't put it past that greasy cunt to tell his board he'd quit if they did business with us.

I agree with you. For me, it's the lack of a leader within the group. Son left, and we no longer have any role models. That player who takes responsibility and makes things happen.

The thing to bear in mind with injuries like Maddisons is that these players are heavily insured by the clubs. An old Uni mate of mine specialises in football insurance in the City. Obviously it doesn't cover all of the cost but it isn't like we're shelling out wages and unable to pay for replacements - some of the costs of the injury will be covered by long term injury insurance.
