Jackson's PL stats are OK - 65 appearances, 24 goals, 10 assists. A goal involvement every 1.9 matches. If we sign Jackson do we have who can hit the barn door challenge every week my bets on rich
Yeah but he has got less drive to show that ability than an asthmatic sloth who just finished a fortnight of double overtime
May as well take a punt and throw him in with the rest of our strikers who can't score, wingers who can't dribble, midfielders who can't pass, defenders who can't mark and keepers who can't command their area and hopefully when we complete this weird wacky journey and reach the wizard of Oz he can fix all those issues and we finally have that world class squad we've been after.Nicolas Jackson ain't happening but I do think he's a really good player. With fundamentally flawed striking technique. He shoots like me when I'm tired at training.
Not the only thing you'll find in his nose hair... Naughty boy
Maddison is a huge blow that isn't the club's fault of course. And I did not expect to completely vault the gap between us and the top clubs even in the best case scenario.Realistically, if you believe we are miles and miles off now, where did you think we were going to get this window.
Elliott>McAteeGrealish on loan or Mcatee on a permanent deal are the 2 considerations. It's not Eze.
If Bryan Gil played for Chelsea they would have a deal agreed to sell him for £60m to Woolwich by now even if he had the same number of minutes he's got for us. Fucking bizarre.

I'd rather players who are available the whole season, who put the club first, who don't need anger management classes ..
Maddison is very frequently injured, it's why I didn't want him in the first place, still baffled we went with him over Eze, but hey ho.Maddison is a huge blow that isn't the club's fault of course. And I did not expect to completely vault the gap between us and the top clubs even in the best case scenario.
But I would have hoped for greater progress than we've made with our CL qualification, and I did not anticipate how aggressive Woolwich/Liverpool/United were going to be.
If we had Bissouma, Richy and Solomon out the door in addition to Sonny, had let Tel go back to Bayern and Davies' contract to expire, but then we'd been the ones to sign Ekikite/Gyokeres and Cunha/Eze, I'd be saying we're a fullback short of really taking a step forward and making a fist of it in the CL.
There is still time to make some good things happen, but we just have some really substandard pieces occupying several significant places in the squad right now, as the league buries us.
And as always it's down to that dualism of what's lacking under ENIC, industry standard resourcing and the ironclad sporting commitment to out-competing our rivals. Every path is a road to nowhere without those things.
