When uncle Joe passes I think the sale will happen

A football club with more room spend into is just simply a more exiting prospect, and will entice more buyers whilst also insuring they can line the pockets a bit more whilst here

But its fine cause he's gone an interview with Garey Neville and him and the new CEO said we wanna win the PL.
I am at the point where I am desperate to see us sell, regardless that may be an American investment portfolio, Petro billionaire, European tech industry nerd, I'm past caring. Someone posted something rather astute in here the other day about how even though we are worth supposedly £3.5bn and our income is gargantuan in purely footballing terms etc etc, as a % of the valuation and fluid capital, and in a further sense borrowing power, of ENIC, we represent a huge % of the total valuation of both Lewis' net worth, ENIC's company worth and Levy's personal worth.

I think a massive reason we are so gunshy in the market is precisely because the club can probably only spend what it is capable of borrowing or generating naturally, my big hope is that PSR continues to affect the way clubs are capable of doing business because if it does then we do represent probably the single most attractive investment opportunity in England at the moment, especially if our fortunes continue to trend downwards and a billion or two gets knocked off that £3.5bn valuation ENIC and Levy have slapped on the club.

I think genuinely we could make a case for the worst owners in the league.

The list of mistakes missed opportunities they made made over the years in maddening. And now them are seemingly refusing to spend on proven talent to solely focus on young lower wage potential with high sell on. Whilst also charging top 3 in the world prices and but refusing to invest the same.

Dildo bros and ENIC

Two worst in the league by a country mile

West Ham take some beating tbf, at least we don't need binoculars to see the close side of the pitch :franklol:

I just want to say that I do not always bring my best self to this forum. We are all spurs fans here.

If we don’t bring in one or two more FIRST TEAM players then we have not done enough and it will be a bs window.

It’s not true that Levy said we would win the league and CL this season. That’s disingenuous. However he did say we need to compete and at the moment the squad is short of quality to compete on four fronts.

Massive three weeks ahead.

It's a bit of a weird one because a LOT of PL clubs (and the championship clubs that have been and gone in between) have come under new ownership in the last 5 years, if you were to judge ENIC in a vacuum based on their whole term as Tottenham owners you would have to say they have held the club's health in high regard and even now with us faltering for some time, we are not in any financial danger, however when you measure them against other owners in the league who have been around a while (FSG, Kroenke, Mansour) their achievements utterly pale in comparison. If you ask "who is the worst run PL club since 2020" it's very much a two-horse race between ourselves and United, and were you to judge that over the entire decade (20-30), who would bet against United getting their shit together much more than us under INEOS?

He didn't need to say that at all. He did not need to intensify pressure on the club by specifically mentioning winning the PL and CL, simply outlining that we seek to build towards being competitive in top level competition again over the next few years would have sufficed, it is not the fault of Spurs fans that our owner is drunk on his own ego and decided to pair a completely fanciful statement with a completely inadequate window to even show signs that winning those competitions is part of a 15 year plan, much less a 3 year or 5 year one.

Even if we did bring in 2 more first team players, can we say we've done as much as Liverpool? City? Woolwich? Supposedly these are teams we have ambitions of catching up to, all of whom finished in the top 4 and all of whom have improved their already very good sides substantially more than we are likely to improve our very average one.

We are in an incredibly precarious position and it really didn't need to be like this

(Transfer) Windows In Your Mind

Romano is reporting
Our interest is real
But no spending only mulling,
An imaginary deal
Sending feelers to an agent
Or an extended loan
How about amortized payments
No one's answering the phone

But the clock is always ticking
No more homegrown space
Maybe a deadline day signing?
A big striker we can chase
Like the signings that you find
In the windows in your mind...

That is quite good, actually.
Unlike the doomed guy's material one joke.

I was on the phone with Levy…asked for £40m. He said I can offer you 5 and free F1 tickets. Told him I would think about it and now he won’t answer my calls. Message says he’s busy building a hotel
Welcome to the hotel Tottenham Hotspur,
We've got NFL, we've got NFL,
And concert tickets to sell
Plenty of room at the hotel Tottenham Hotspur,
We don't really want to invest, want to invest,
In the team you love best.
