Who the fuck is in charge of our recruitment?

There seems to be no-one capable of acting decisively. It’s a fucking mess. Certainly from the outside looking in.

This is like the bad old days.

We have supposedly completely revamped our recruitment, data analytics, scouting middle management structure and we even have Paratici lurking around in there somewhere and yet none of these cunts seem to be capable of making a fucking decision on who to fucking sign.
It’s easy to say you are “data driven”. Every fucking club has a data department these days. The key is trusting the data, empowering your key recruiters, and understanding what the team needs to be properly balanced.

I've got no idea if there is anything illegal in what that cnut club are doing. You can't help feel that if it was, something would get done. Who knows.

What is harder to fathom is how they find all these players, why other teams, including us get nowhere near and why so many players want to be part of such a number of playing staff. I mean last I read, Boehly hadn't created 16-man a side games.

All I know is that for all my hatred towards them, they are going to get close to the PL title this season, although they lack a 30 goal a season player, and have no Terry to lead them.

In my mind they are ahead of City and on par with Woolwich.
I think the longer contracts are certainly part of the attraction.

They probably all have. I suspect there is one massive bellend in the way of doing anything though. The usual blockage on ambition.

Take Utd as an example of actually being proactive (unlike us). Whether their signings turn out to be good or bad, at least Man Utd are trying. We aren't doing anything.

You seen this ?

Sure it won’t make a difference, but fans have a right to vent their anger. I suspect there will be protests before the game.

If it’s still 0-0 going into the second half, you can bet your bottom dollar it will be toxic.

Levy has sucked out all the joy of that EL win, with the shambles of this summer.

If it's nil nil going into half time, you can bet your house that there will be boos.

I won't be booing and I'm not saying it's right but there will definitely be an edgy atmosphere the longer we go without scoring.

If Burnley take the lead then it will just be a chorus of sighs and groans every time a spurs player misplaces the ball - and that helps nobody. Seen it time and time again - I've even asked if the person shouting abuse thinks it will help the team but they just shrug and say "I dunno but this is shit innit"

We’ve seen lots of reports taking about how the club are thinking,, planning, scheming, talking, enquiring, pondering, analysing and evaluating.

Surely you understand that 99% of that crap is - at best - lazy tabloid rubbish or - at worst - vapid social media click farming from utter no-marks..... None it worthy of being even vaguely deemed 'journalism'.

I mean; it's understandable being frustrated with our lack of trfs, but ffs don't let that garbage push your buttons.

You can google 'Newnsnow [insert any club name]' and find reams of the same shit about any club.

When Levy employed the best in the business, on and off the field of play, for a brief period while he was distracted by the mess he was making of the delayed stadium build, Paul Mitchell, Pochettino and his staff delivered improvement on a scale never seen at Spurs since the 1960's.

Levy put Mitchell on gardening leave, sacked all the staff and sold all the best players that were bought and developed during this period. This was all his own work.

There is no purpose to Levy running Spurs since that time.

How can any of us believe in his ability to re-build what he once had but decided to destroy it in favour of his own bullshit?

The neck of the langer hanging around like an eggy fart and patting himself on the back for building the delayed megadome, at an inflated cost, is actually incredible.

The people defending this and trying to buy him more time need to give their heads a wobble.

Levy has had his day and has had a good run on minimal ability as a football club chairman.

Why would anyone want to keep watching him fail THFC?

Bring back the 80’s I say, then we’d only know anything transfer wise once they’d signed and all our blood pressure would be a lot lower!

I can actually remember several occasions when my first knowing of a signing was when I saw them on the pitch in our kit!

Simpler, less mentally taxing times for sure.

Not giving a new manager the tools for the job is embarrassing.

The season starts in about a week and we are far from ready for it.

Not really, for me. Im not embarrassed by what the board does. I am by what other fans do because thats who I get associated with.

The manager and the group of players he has deserve to be given the opportunity to show what they have got before a group of idiots go protest and let them know they don't think they are good enough before they've even seen them play a competitive match .
