I’ve never got it, I watch Palace quite often as a lot of family are palace and he’s so poor off the ball. Ambles while players jog around/past him. He has a couple of good passes through the lines but he’s not exactly a dominating figure on the ball either he’s on the periphery a lot of the time. Baleba is on a different level if you’re comparing them.Eze is completely different. He’ll flit in and out of games but will produce a brilliant pass or finish. If we were spending £70 million on Eze or Wharton then anyone who loves football will pick Eze.

As i've said a good while back. I think Levy has painted this club into an extremely tight corner now.
Every manager out there knows this is a manager graveyard. And every decent player out there knows(right or wrong) that we will never do what it takes to challenge.
I was actually surprised we got Frank in.
And i don't think our scouting department don't have the knowledge or the ambition to succeed. I just think no top tier players wants to come here, simple as.
We just don't attract players with ambition, we attract players who wants a pay day(yes we pay bigger wages than most other leagues).
Levy has had 3-4 chances to turn us into a force(most notably under Poch), but has fucked it up every single time.
At the time i don't see anything positive about this club football wise.

That thing about players who as supporters we believe are good enough to play for our club. Not just to play but to help.us compete with the best teams. I say this because last season we did not compete in the manner described but we did win a trophy. The main reason for that was arguably the overall standard, without for one second seeking or intending to diminish the achievement. I loved it.
There is rightly a clamour for new signings, but signings mostly for the short-term. To take us from 17th to let's say 7th to 10th. That's not good enough surely?
Gibbs-White, whilst welcome in a way, isn't a top talent and neither will he be.
My point, I think clear is that we need to buy players - absolutely but not just for the sake of it, so if for this season it needs to be 2 or 3 loans then I think let's do it.
We want a squad, not like Palace or Forest, good but not going to compete as opposed to a squad of players that is able to bang hard on every door..

Its beyond a joke. This Summer is the worst I can ever remember. To finish 17th last season and to just sit still while every other team heavily invests is horrific. Not alone that, but we've to listen to how sustainable we are and talk about all the profits and how well the stadium is doing. Only for the same joke every single transfer window where clubs in much more financial stress than us outbid us for players.
Lange is a complete parody at this stage. Its like having krusty the clown stomping his feet around the place. Then you have Vinai the gooner. Every chance he could be on his own sabotage mission given everything that has gone on since his arrival, but even if not, it looks like he's been brought in just to run a PR campaign for Levy and get the fans onside. When all the fans want is to see some proper investment in the team!!!
