Extremely average CB- maybe even below average. Easy to see why Barca want to get rid of him. I'm not even sure how they ended up with him in the first place. It's got to be nothing more than a joke we have absolutely no reason to be interested in him.

It is but not unsurprising. Conte needed 3 CB’s of decent standard and 2 good wing backs. We got VDV, Dragusin, Porro and Udogie in the side after he went (well Porro he has for a month or two and Udogie was on a buy to loan back deal)
So whatever Frank needs we will get him but after we have sacked him.
Far far better then tel. Completely different players but i think frank wants to turn tel into a 9 over time.

I think it has been very unfair of the football powers that be letting all the other clubs know there would be a summer transfer window and not telling us . Surely this gives other teams an unfair advantage that we are hearing rumours of this new phenomenon yet other teams definitely know it’s a real scenario and are acting accordingly.

Savinho is a top talent and 21 years old. He has dribbling and can beat defenders. This would be a great signing. Savinho right winger and Kudus n. 10. But he can play also left winger.
I dont know enough about him but £42m seems like great value in the current market. Wasnt he the next big thing 12 months ago?

Romano comes out with the tweet, fair enough, but then to add Thomas Frank indicated Savinho as ideal player devalues the tweet for me as when you watch press conferences and managers are asked about players, the default response is "we dont talk about players at other clubs" or words to that effect. So how would Romano know that Frank has indicated Savinho as an ideal player.
I quite like the look of the player and remember a game against us when he ran us ragged and nutmegged Udogie. also got an assist IIRC. He is a rough diamond ATM and reminds me of a young Son.
If he can grow into a good player with end product like Son then great.
If there is some truth in this, I doubt it would be less than 50-60m and do we play him on the left as a winger. If we are shelling out this on Savinho, I would rather we try and persuade (beg) Rodrygo to join and pay him what he wants and RM the extra money it would take to get him.
Still need a 10 and back up LB ( or RB as Spence can play both).

City have a habit of collecting players they don't actually need. He is very talented and settled in quickly it seems. Good deal if we can get it over the line.

Savinho is a left winger. Even at City his numbers were far better on left side. Buying him & playing him on right with the options we have would be pointless
He was and he still got 10 assists in PL in 1700 minutes - so it’s not like he flopped at City.
