My issue with Mcatee is I don't think he's better than Bergval so I don't see him starting for us even with Maddison injured.
He's just another young talent with huge potential but our squad is already overloaded with them type of players. I'd rather see us sign a 10 who instantly walks into our team, rather than another squad player.

Chances are they know Cherki is likely to hoover up most of Savinho's minutes and if they hang on a year to do a deal for him they will be lucky to break even if they can't get him on the pitch much, had a feeling deals like this would be the ones we pursued but will admit I'm pleasantly surprised a player of Savinho's calibre could actually be available.
It'll be Sarr against PSG and Bergval against Burnley.

I think we have City in August don't we, so they probably wouldn't want to sell before our game even if they do sell eventually, which seems 50/50 at this point. We simply can't afford to fanny about and lose another two weeks.
City know we bid 60m for MGW so my guess is that is exactly what they'll ask Daniel Levy to pay. We offered 50m so imagine the ongoing negotiations is we'll try and pay that extra 10m in add ons while City will want most of it upfront.
I think we've a better chance than 50/50 of getting this over the line. Personal terms no issue.
