Yes. I like this a lot.

I also find it amusingly ironic that we usually take about 5-10 years to upgrade easily upgradable players, but would be upgrading one of our better players about 3 weeks after signing him. Very Spurs recruitment.

Seriously, I know Savinho spent most of his time on the left in Spain, so we could be playing both him and Kudus easily, and I don’t even mind having two very good options for a one attacking position.

Savinho’s end product is better than Kudus’s imo.

If we get Savinho, I’m thinking this team would start Burnley

Vic
Porro Romero VDV Udogie
Palinha Sarr
Kudus
Savinho Solanke Odobert

If he was any good why the fuck would they sell him to a direct rival? We all know how this ends
Because who else are they going to sell to?

The Prem is where the money is, they aren’t getting £50m plus from the continent as only the elite handful can afford that and they have established world class players in that position.

Additionally, say what you want about Pep but he is t the sort of “let them rot in the reserves” type bellend. They’ve bought well in that position and want Xavi - we will fund that move for them effectively - but we benefit as well as he is a cut above what we have

I agree. Savinho on the left, where he mostly played in Spain, with a license to attack his FB rather than being shackled in Pep's ball possession system, massively improves our attacking potential.

Odobert has shown promise in pre-season, but he would become a squad rotation player, backing up Savinho & Kudus.

If we go & get a genuine ACM like Akliouche or Paz as well, our attacking threat would be transformed.
