And City clearly doesn't care too much about "selling to rivals". They've sold to Woolwich and Chelsea plenty of times.

I know its nice to blame it all on Levy and suits our narrative but I do think that forest owner is a dangerous piece of shit. He's a gangster hiding behind a football team.

I don't think we fucked up at all int that MGW deal. I don't think we did anything illegal. I just think that forest owner always gets what he wants and MGW was told he can't leave and he wasn't going to take on the mafia.

My point is rather it's entirely plausible that we went fishing for Grealish, and during the club-to-club discussions we learnt Savinho may be available.

Especially since the domino chain reaction suggests Pep wants to use the Savinho money to help fund moves for Xavi Simons & possibly Rodrygo.

In a perfect world, we would be signing Simons & Rodrygo, but I'd be happy if we get Savinho and a genuine ACM.

But people are happy to discussed 2-3 times this amount for a German forward who scored 19 goals in 89 games before a 1 in 2 season last year.
That's is exactly the sort of player we spunk £50m+ on and give away for free in 5 years

Let's hope we tie this up fast.

Im hoping we've had second thoughts about the cb and will keep vuskovic in the squad. And instead we will try again and push hard for eze. That would get us back in the fold for top 5th imo.
