I'd be flabbergasted if Eze ends up here, but there does seem to be some chatter; and one of our own - El Tel 1 I believe - has posted confidently about it.

I don’t think it’s out of the realms of possibility. This club is short of marketable stars at the moment and he is one. He’s got the style on the pitch and a little of that Sonny charm off it.

The big question is what Woolwich are doing, but he’s 27, he needs to be playing CL to nail down a spot for England at the WC next year.

I do because we won’t spend that money then pay him the wages he’ll want. Woolwich will. I wish I was wrong

City know we bid 60m for MGW so my guess is that is exactly what they'll ask Daniel Levy to pay. We offered 50m so imagine the ongoing negotiations is we'll try and pay that extra 10m in add ons while City will want most of it upfront.

I think we've a better chance than 50/50 of getting this over the line. Personal terms no issue.
