Eze and SavinhoAre we meant to be signing both Eze and Savinho or one or the other?

That's a proper stubborn streak you got there.Bryan Gil will go down as an absolute waster for many Spurs fans I'm sure, but for me there's absolutely a good footballer in there.
He didn't have the physical attributes to ever hit the ground running in England, nor seemingly did he have the grit to compensate for that initial culture shock.
But if he'd gone to a club that would have afforded him the time and patience to adapt to things, he could have become a top player.
In retrospect, the dumbest thing we did with him (beyond parting with £20m+ and Lamela to sign him) is pack him off on loans back to Spain, he should have been sent out to either a lower half Prem side or a top half Championship side, like Luka Modric being toughened up in the Bosnian league.
It’s a sad state of affairs that I actually believe this is more likely the case than us bringing in either of them, let alone both.Personally I think these are just being used as distraction for morale purposes after we get pumped tomorrow evening.
Both are not close it seems. Neither will get done until late August if at all
What I'd say to anyone currently stressing about these deals and whether they get done ....Personally I think these are just being used as distraction for morale purposes after we get pumped tomorrow evening.

Eze and Guehi are premier league proven.
As a previous poster said . 100 million get the deal done. If savings was all that good then city would not be selling him.
He’d have come back in a body bag!Bryan Gil will go down as an absolute waster for many Spurs fans I'm sure, but for me there's absolutely a good footballer in there.

I’m obviously happy to see palace win. But it is not a trophy. Only wankers and messers classify it as a trophy or title. A bit like people who wear white socks and black shoes.
We may have the funds and capacity to sign both but I doubt we have the capability.I'm as pessimistic as they come usually but surely nobody believes this shit?
The idea that the club would fabricate links to players to somehow boost the fanbase is beyond ridiculous.
It would actually have the reverse effect. If the club leaked links to players and then the deals don't happen, the fanbase would be far more annoyed then they would be if we just weren't linked to anyone.
It was clear we nearly brought in MGW and to be fair, it wasn't the clubs fault that that deal collapsed. That meant we had 60 odd million ready to spend, and I very much doubt MGW was planned as our last big signing for the summer window.
So it is perfectly feasible that we have the capacity and funds to sign both Savio and Eze.
I know we had a few weeks after MGW where we all moaned about how quiet we seemed to be, but we don't know what we are doing behind the scenes.
The fact is, judging by the calibre of players we are trying to bring into the club., it's clear we are looking at making serious signings with elite quality. And unfortunately for us, for those types of players, we aren't top choice for players and they aren't easy deals to do.
I am far happier that we appear to be trying to bring in the likes of Eze and Silvio, rather than the usual cheap punts on the likes of N'Koudou's and Solomans etc
There's no guarantee that we can complete these big deals, loads can go wrong. So we just need to sit tight and hope for the best.
Again unfortunately for us, the elite players don't grow on trees so if we cant' do the deals, we might be a bit fucked and then have to go for lesser options.
As ever though I'll only be happy if we sign them. Not doing the deals means nothing in football, we need to sign them both.
I will say I am hopeful, anxious, I have a bad feeling Woolwich will come in for Eze and gazump us, but fingers crossed that doesn't happen.
Jesus christ.
Eze the little one need to stop playing games and go in with a offer that is acceptable to themI'm as pessimistic as they come usually but surely nobody believes this shit?

I don't think the links are fabricated, but I do think there's a good chance we don't end up with even one of Savinho, Eze, and Paz. Spurs have a long history of being too clever by half when it comes to deals for experienced players. Our opening offers are almost always far off the mark and negotiations extend and then break down. Woolrich will come back in on Eze just to be sure Spurs don't get him. Man City won't let Savinho go unless they are sure of getting Rodrygo and, even then, Spurs would have to pay much more than they would like. Any deal for Paz seems to be a non-starter. Some chance on Eze, slight chance on Paz, and almost no chance Spurs get Savinho. Hope I'm wrong, but if there's a way to mess up these deals Spurs will find it.I'm as pessimistic as they come usually but surely nobody believes this shit?
