I must be missing the joke because the northern line doesn't go to N17 and the Vic doesn't go to SE London...Disagree, the best thing the come out of palace to N17 is the northern and victoria line.
But none of them on huge wages and all of them amortized out over long distances.
We might have to pay more upfront, this summer, for Eze than Chelsea did for their whole raft combined.
With us having CL money right now, Eze's age, the need at the 10 position, etc, this makes a lot of accounting sense as opposed to trying to stretch out the cost basis into seasons 3-4 years away.

Tbh i think eze might have been provisionally done a year ago. Did read somewhere his entourage were guests of club, think giminez was spotted in crowd as well. You never know in football.

My opinion is that his release clause active and it expires this Friday. That would make it 2 weeks before the end of the window, which from Palace's point of view, makes sense so that they don't end up losing him right at the end of the window, if someone triggers it, and they can't replace him.
I think that date makes more sense, than the previous one about it expiring two weeks before the season starts.
It would also back up why we have decided to approach Palace this week, but then that could be because we were waiting until after the charity shield match.

Sounds like they've softened their stance. I imagine with the drop into the Conference League he's probably informally asked out because he wants to test himself. I don't think they'll be dicks this summer after their win.
What could possibly go wrong
What on earth would we do with Buonanotte if we bought both Savinho and Eze?
For that matter why on earth did we make Tel permanent if we were going to sign Eze and Savinho? Especially if we're going to sign a striker, DOUBLE especially if we don't have a destination for Richy.
