Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The difference between an average and a good season will be getting Eze and Salvinho over the line. Manager seems good, defence is solid but we badly lack going forward. If we had a bit more quality up top last night we would have won that, Kudus and Richy off and we fall away.
I think we could have more than a good season if we got them in.
Kudus showed last night how difficult it is to stop a 1v1 specialist, even for psg. If we got eze and sav we would have 3 spread across the frontline and you can't double up on that.

I think if we made it happen we could compete for a trophy somewhere and be tucked up right behind the top 4. If any of the top 4 are slightly off it this season or its an ultra competitive one we could even pick off one of those teams.
It would all depend on how quickly and easily frank can get that attack working fluidly.

Solanke for me just doesnt cut the mustard as a striker target man. Id have Richarlison on the left, Solanke on the right, Eze attacking mid and we need a target man up top. Not nessecarily to just score goals, but to hold up the play and involve solanke and richarlison

Oh lord. Are you ok today?

I can only assume you predicted a comfortable win for us last night, and you now have the hump because, as clear favourites, we lost.
I do have the hump

We would have won that match if we had a half decent squad last night

Whether I thought we'd win or not is immaterial

Proper manager finally in charge and of course we give him fucking scraps to work with

Netflix in partnership with TwoBob Productions and The Daniel Levy Foundation are proud to announce a new captivating mini series, “Stalking” - A behind the scenes look at Tottenham Hotspur’s world famous transfer strategy.

Narrated by Mr personality plus himself, Louis Theroux, the series will lead you on a wild journey through the complex and corrupt stages of football transfers.

We will witness first hand, the process required, from identifying, monitoring, winking, ramping up, anonymous text messages, bribes to family members, offers attached to bricks, ignoring non disclosure agreements and finally the tried but failed stage.

This is one series not to be missed, if you can be arsed….

So a number of senior players are injured who still count as the squad. We can't replace Maddison in a week and kulu just because they are crocked..... and if those INJURED players are on the bench - then I assume you accept we win last night?

Secondly, we are clearly going to bolster the squad and i would say our squad is quite a bit more than 'half decent' but you know that.

So getting the hump when we are clearly going to be a much stronger outfit than we were last year, and look much sharper, because we bought on a couple of players that are still developing, is I guess, your right - but its also a little bit dramatic -

I didn’t understand why we’d paid 40 mil for Tel at the time, given his 6 month loan, and I’m still baffled by it today.

I suspect because we’d already done the groundwork in January and it was an easy deal to do to bring him in. We know it was a club rather than manager signing.

I was at the game in Munich and they love him. He was getting adulation from the fans and the club. So there must be something there. I’m not seeing it either and wouldn’t have bought him. A loan again at most.
