Eze would prefer Woolwich over us if we're being honest, so paying over the odds at this point won't do much good.

That being said, he isn't going to wait forever. This is probably his last chance to get a big move.

If we offer £60m then I don’t think Woolwich match it and therefore they become irrelevant. If it drops to £50m or possibly even £45m then I think Woolwich will do it and gamble they can get a lot of that back on Trossard. So bidding more now could seal the player. The longer it goes on probably works against us.

No doubt it’s going to deadline day at the earliest though as we are dither FC
