I think Douglas Luiz would be a good buy, especially if we shift Bissouma. Only see him play for villa but he looked good to me.
Am I wrong ? Is he shit ?

I think he's making up them numbers. Ornstein said yesterday that if Palace don't get close to the 68m then Eze will remain at Palace!

I'd be shocked if anything under 60m was accepted. We are almost talking Madueke money now, no way Woolwich wouldn't have gone for Eze instead if he was available for around 55m!
Just £55m seems unlikely. But +/- £60m + add-ons should get us pretty close. Same goes for Savinho from City imo.

Nothing outrageous or undoable.

Is that really the expression? They start to look more alike over time?

This is your dog then. And it started out as a pitbull.

I wonder if the Guehi Liverpool deal being in the balance has also played a part in Palace preparing to sell us Eze.

I'm not saying it's the only reason but it might mean they are a little bit more willing to deal and flex on price.

Guehi apparently has reservations about going to Liverpool and sitting on thier bench with the world cup next summer.

That removes a revenue stream for Palace, so means selling Eze becomes more important.

By the way, I have to say, I think Guehi would be making the right decision to stay at Palace. He can captain them and play every game this season, play at the world cup, and then have his pick of clubs next summer, fat signing on bonus, and probably still end up at Liverpool.

Why join them now?

If we wanna play 3 at the back we should be all over him also he'd get serious game time and would look good with Romero and VDV with him

Im pleased to hear things are looking fairly positive on the eze deal.

Im pretty sure the savinho deal is the one that will happen. We need a 10 more but savinho isn't just about playing ability imo, its the next superstar, silky Brazilian, the commercial side of things etc. I think levy and spurs want savinho more than they want eze IMO
