By the sounds if it Levy is at 50m for Savinho and 55m for Eze so about 10m off the asking price in both cases.
There's the bean counting I am talking about. Sometimes, just sometimes when almost everything is in place and its obvious to everyone and their brother you need a number 10 and an additional frontman, because it will progress the club on and off the pitch, the bean counting makes little sense imo.

I think this comes down to ego. Levy thinking he has paid 5m+ more than HE believes is right, will dent his ego and give him sleepless nights, yet the elite business man that he is can't see that on occasion, you need to lose some to win some and that's never more prevalent than in todays EPL.

So what happened to the complaint filed by Forest over the MGW release clause? Did it get dropped now that he signed a new deal?

If so, why don’t Spurs file a complaint about Forest refusing to honor the player’s release clause?

Maybe its PTSD from the MGW saga but I just can't help but feel something will go wrong on this Eze deal.

Its all there. It should be an open goal. Just something doesn't feel right.
It's kind of the underlying mystery of why this obvious star with a seemingly highly attainable release clause is still at Palace.

My totally uninformed speculation: Eze has come back brilliantly on the pitch from that terrible achillies injury he suffered a few years ago, but is there something in the medicals that is scaring teams away from making a huge long-term financial commitment for him?
