Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Bluemoon seems to have accepted that he's going and have now talked themselves into us overpaying for him at 60m+. It's funny because at the start of the thread they were very much against selling him but suppose they are like the rest of us and have talked themselves around to it.

They are getting Rodrygo probably they will be fine.

Sarr "created" out goal in the Europa League final. He picked Johnson out by crossing a ball 20 yards onto a sixpence.

What exactly defines a "creative" player?
Genuinely curious on this. Is it only creative if the ball is played on the ground?
I'm not saying he's going to become an Erkisen or a De Bruyne, but he's a good all round player.
I like Sarr, but he is not a creative player, we can all create a chance once in a blue moon, But Erkissen would see and create 4-5 chances per game,
a creative player just sense's where to play the ball (in one glance they know where the ball needs to go)

First manager to get sacked. Feel for Nuno he seems like a good lad but that owner will fuck it up for him. Least with how he's done there he will get another PL job.
Wonder what MGW is thinking these days

That's one of the reasons I'm glad we never signed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia !

We need to get Eze wrapped up either today and Saturday, and before we sign Savinho.

Woolwich are still lurking, and if we sign Savinho, meaning City go for Rodrygo, then Woolwich might go back for Eze.

The clause expires today so we have to take advantage of it. Can’t fumble this.

He’s livid he’s been forced to stick around, when he so clearly wanted out. He’s not stayed by choice, and I think he might have ruined any chance of move for at least 2 years.

The construction of the payments could become the issue here. I don't know what Palace are demanding up front, but if it's 75% for example, Levy might forego the release clause and pay over that in order to secure more favourable repayments.
Either way, hopefully it gets done before our first kick of the season. If it's still not confirmed by Sunday, then it'll be interesting to see if he's in the Palace squad, that will be a big indication if we're close I'd imagine.

tbf we would be overpaying if it goes through considering they signed him just a year ago for 30 million and he's managed 1 goal in 29.
more than double their money, but if city dont want to sell i guess this is what you have to do as big club. Back you manager, frank wants him like ange wanted solanke even though he was overpriced so hopefully it gets done but i dont trust Levy
