Agree. But also if the money offered is shit.

Frankly I think if City hadn't fully acclimated itself to Pep's demand that he doesn't want to have to deal with any wantaway players, they would have just told us to go fuck ourselves and that would have been the end of it.Not sure why the pessimism.
If the deal was off Romano would say it straight. Hes saying the deal is on but it’s difficult. Well of course it is. It’s a big money deal. And city don’t want to sell? Of course they will say that it’s just posturing.
Remember where he gets his info from. It’s leaked from clubs as well as agents. They have Romano and all journalists to do their bidding.
It isn’t Spurs telling him that City don’t want to sell him. It’s City. They are basically saying to us, you need to up your bid it’s not enough.
They wouldn’t be in discussions with us if they weren’t open to selling. It’s all a negotiation, let’s just let it play out.
If we hear some actual negative news that the deal is dead or it’s stalled, then it’s time to meltdown. I will join in don’t worry.
It's bananas. He had a bad spell after his injury but since March/April he's been mustard.I do not get your anti Bentancur stance at all.
Quality player, and played well on wed.

But clearly Savinho wants out, and that offends Pep the way it always has, so City's next best option is to try and goad us into overpaying.
He gets more clicks by dragging things out. Clicks = money. Not sure why the pessimism.

It's definitely possible Savinho could sign a new deal, if it were any other megabucks club I would probably think it was likely.Exactly. Savinho wants out which is why his agents are flying over from Brazil to get the deal done. People worried that he going to sign a new contract with City, I can’t see that. Numerous sources say he wants us because he wants regular first team football, so if that info is true, a new contact at city solves nothing for him.
If that’s a lie and it’s actually more money he wants then yeah, a new contract at City would be enough for him but I doubt that’s the case.
Also Brazilian sources have said the reason his agents are here is to get the Spurs deal done, so I’m sure that’s the truth.
Spurs would never loan out Bergvall. That'd be lunacy. From my papers mate
Bentancur new contract.
Bissouma upset not offered new contract.
A couple of Spanish clubs want Bergvall on loan.
Savinho and Eze should get done. Players want it, but don't be surprised if Spurs get gazumped whilst they haggle over fee.
Rumours that he's also City's alt if Rodrygo can't be done

I absolutely love how people speak authoritatively on things they actually have no evidence for (or against). We’ve funds for Saviñho or Eze in us, but not both. Saviñho is probably a better long term pickup so I’m not surprised how’s it leaning at present.
He’s on “only” 40K per week so I suspect getting a pay rise has a lot do with his desire to move … so if City offered him a new contract with a big pay bump, I think he’d stay in Manchester … but who knows hopefully, it is about playing time and we get him to N17.It's definitely possible Savinho could sign a new deal, if it were any other megabucks club I would probably think it was likely.
But Pep has always wanted anyone not 100% committed to him out the door asap, and he sure sounded his usual prickly self about it today.
We shall see.
Gotta be ruthless, we're a football club, not a charity.
Drag is injured...and crap. Kulu is injured...sometimes great, often meh. I love Ben, but come on now. Odobert ain't better than Kudus, Eze, Savinho or Brennan. Tel isn't one of our best 22-23 players. None of them could complain about getting cut.
If he ends up at west ham he wont need to use laughing gas anymore.
I genuinely think city are intentionally mucking us about to waste our time
Maybe Gray (if Palhinha stays fit all year he'll have limited game time) but definitely not Bergvall.
I’m open to being proven wrong about this- but far more reasonable to suggest we won’t get both. I suppose you think it’s likely?I absolutely love how people speak authoritatively on things they actually have no evidence for (or against).
Agreed. Gray needs a loan. No question. He needs it. Get Leeds on the blower. They'd be happy to have him I'm sure!Maybe Gray (if Palhinha stays fit all year he'll have limited game time) but definitely not Bergvall.
I'd love Gray to get more minutes but he's so young and a regular starting place in midfield could work wonders for him
