Not sure why the pessimism.

If the deal was off Romano would say it straight. Hes saying the deal is on but it’s difficult. Well of course it is. It’s a big money deal. And city don’t want to sell? Of course they will say that it’s just posturing.

Remember where he gets his info from. It’s leaked from clubs as well as agents. They have Romano and all journalists to do their bidding.

It isn’t Spurs telling him that City don’t want to sell him. It’s City. They are basically saying to us, you need to up your bid it’s not enough.

They wouldn’t be in discussions with us if they weren’t open to selling. It’s all a negotiation, let’s just let it play out.

If we hear some actual negative news that the deal is dead or it’s stalled, then it’s time to meltdown. I will join in don’t worry.

Frankly I think if City hadn't fully acclimated itself to Pep's demand that he doesn't want to have to deal with any wantaway players, they would have just told us to go fuck ourselves and that would have been the end of it.

But clearly Savinho wants out, and that offends Pep the way it always has, so City's next best option is to try and goad us into overpaying.

This whole thing might otherwise be resolved through Pep giving Savinho assurances about his minutes and place in the team, but Pep isn't like that, and Doku and Savinho on both wings really is a problem.

(Kudus and Savinho is too for the same reason, but y'all aren't ready for that conversation)

From my papers mate

Bentancur new contract.

Bissouma upset not offered new contract.

A couple of Spanish clubs want Bergvall on loan.

Savinho and Eze should get done. Players want it, but don't be surprised if Spurs get gazumped whilst they haggle over fee.

Exactly. Savinho wants out which is why his agents are flying over from Brazil to get the deal done. People worried that he going to sign a new contract with City, I can’t see that. Numerous sources say he wants us because he wants regular first team football, so if that info is true, a new contact at city solves nothing for him.

If that’s a lie and it’s actually more money he wants then yeah, a new contract at City would be enough for him but I doubt that’s the case.

Also Brazilian sources have said the reason his agents are here is to get the Spurs deal done, so I’m sure that’s the truth.

He gets more clicks by dragging things out. Clicks = money.

He doesn't know what's going on 95% of the time and just repeats the same crap and dresses it up. Guy's a pleb

It's definitely possible Savinho could sign a new deal, if it were any other megabucks club I would probably think it was likely.

But Pep has always wanted anyone not 100% committed to him out the door asap, and he sure sounded his usual prickly self about it today.

We shall see.

He’s on “only” 40K per week so I suspect getting a pay rise has a lot do with his desire to move … so if City offered him a new contract with a big pay bump, I think he’d stay in Manchester … but who knows hopefully, it is about playing time and we get him to N17.

Gotta be ruthless, we're a football club, not a charity.

Drag is injured...and crap. Kulu is injured...sometimes great, often meh. I love Ben, but come on now. Odobert ain't better than Kudus, Eze, Savinho or Brennan. Tel isn't one of our best 22-23 players. None of them could complain about getting cut.

Anything positive to say or are you just a miserable fucker all of the time?

Dragusin is a good squad player, unless you know of a super centre back who will come to us to sit on the bench most games?

Kulu is coming into the prime years of his career, and has been injured, but fuck that fact just you turn that knife in a little more.

Odobert is younger than the three you mentioned, just twenty, and is now fully fit after a long term injury, but no, you have to write the kid off.

You truly are not a supporter of the team, you just want to be a fan of trinkets.

You really need to go follow the blue half of Manchester, and you won't be missed in here.
