Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Tottenham are considering a move for 24-year-old Real Sociedad and Japan winger Takefusa Kubo as Thomas Frank looks to bolster his attacking options.

he's not a bad Savinho alt tbh. although he's stronger on the Right than the left

I'm all for the Eze Deal, I do have some reservations though , how will he perform with the increased expectations at Spurs, he won't be the big fish in the little Pond any more, he will also most weeks be playing against a Low block , however I follow a fair bit of Palace and since Glasner come in and they are playing more attacking football Eze has thrived, so i think TF will also be able to get the best out of him.
The thing is no transfer is ever risk free, and Eze is PL proven and he is just the kind of player we need at Spurs, if we can also Add Savio on the left and Kudus, Sarr & Richie keep playing with the same intensity as they have last few games, then I don't think any team is going to want to play us!

Umm, did you read his post again? Does it say before ENIC or 2019?

Seriously, you guys that act like chihuahuas barking at everything that might put ENIC and Levy in a negative light are just as bad as the Levy haters. Two sides of the same coin.

I read his post, mate - did you?

We have a history of this, along with always being the team playing catch up..

You're essentially saying i am not allowed to discuss this because.... why? You hate enic and levy so much that any discussion around nuance and context just stings too much?

Not allowed to discuss why or since when we were playing catch-up because it destroys your deeply held beliefs and comfort blanket as to why we have not been as successful as you have wanted the last 25 years.

I haven't barked; I give plenty of criticism. But us not paying 100k a week for a player at the time the OP is alluding to is worthy of a discussion IMHO -

Maybe they think Gil Solomon Odobert are good enough

Put the money saved towards more hotels and condos

If Spurs were to sign Savinho and Eze, they will need to make room in the squad. The Premier League squad is reasonably straightforward, where Gil, Solomon will make room for new players.

The champions league squad though, they would need to drop established players. Assuming that Gil, Soloman, Bissouma, Dragusin, Takai, Vuskovic aren't going to be named in the champs league squad - would still need to drop 2 players - with the only realistic candidates being :

Davies (but then would only have 3CBs and 3FBs - enough cover for injuries?)
Odobert or Tel
Bergvall or Gray
Kinsky - risky having no decent backup keeper?

I think we’ll get Eze but not Savio. I just cannot see Levy spending £60m+ on Savio and Eze. He’ll be thinking that spending big on Savio is a waste as we have Odobert, Tel, Kulusevski, Solomon and Richarlison who can all play LWF, with Moore and Yang both potentially coming back into the first team squad next season. Plus Eze can play LWF as well. Such a shame he is so risk averse and never pushes on to reach the next level!

I haven't heard anything since the inaccurate info I provided last week. But I am still optimistic a deal gets done. Pep rarely (if ever) gets in the way of a player leaving. If you look at the Lewis situation, he's been quick to address that and publicly confirm Rico doesn't wish to leave. He hasn't done that with Ederson or Savinho because both want to leave.

Even if Savinho was told he'd get increased minutes, the guy wants to be playing as many as possible to make the World Cup squad. The return of Bobb should increase the chances of them letting Savinho go and I think they're rightfully delaying a deal to avoid the possibility of him facing them on his debut.

I hope it's not a deal we hang all our hopes on though and that we have a deadline as I don't want the club to be in a position where we have a few days left and he signs a new deal/we can't agree a fee.

For now I choose to stay optimistic and hope behind the scenes progress is being made. I cannot stress how good of an addition I feel he would be. Having him & Kudus on our wings is a night and day compared to previous seasons and would make us VERY difficult to play against"
