Interesting to read so many City fans being absolutely fuming at this news.

I take that as a good sign we’ve dodged a bullet. He’d be worth a punt at £50m max, but fees of £70m plus are a huge risk.

Hopefully we have other targets for LW ready to go for.

I've said this from day one.

If people step back and think about it, the fee really is stupid for a player who hasnt really proved anything.

We're you really annoyed when we had the Audi logos behind the dug out chairs? They're owned by Volkswagen.

I know VW made the Beetle and it was Hitlers "idea"
But how in bed with the Nazi's were VW, really? (genuine question, I don't know)
Hugo Boss was in the Nazi party before even Hitler took over. He continued to support Nazi beliefs after the war.
All that said, I quite like Boss clothing

If player wants out player usually gets it.

Depends where Mancity see the fee - if its 70m + or 80m+ its a good question whether he's worth it ?

I think that would be a club record fee for us. Not sure myself.

Something like 55 million, not that I have any clue, plus add-ons linked to appearances and silverware up to a higher figure would seem more reasonable, based on potential as opposed to anythjng we have seen so far.

I mean if he was that good why is he not starring for City?

VW was started by the Third Reich, so fairly involved I'd say haha they used labour from concentration camps to create cheap cars for the German people.

It's as simple as putting attainable add ons for Silverado IMO.
£50m guaranteed with £20m based on number of starts over 2 or 3 seasons, number of goals, number of assists, league position etc etc.
All stuff, that, if he's as good as City think, will all but guarantee them the add ons.
And, if he does all of the the things and we have to pay, at least he was worth it.

I ain’t buying Balague’s report on Savinho. Romano the tap-in merchant would be all over it if it was the case, his silence is very telling.

Pep won’t force a player to stay if he wants out, and everything points to Savinho wanting the move, his agents coming across from Brazil, the photo in his gym at home at the weekend etc.
Balague is just spouting City’s consistent line that they’re not minded to sell…unless there is an important offer.

Personally, and I don't want to divide the forum, but I'm not a fan of Hitler. Got no time for him
