I think if if if we can't get savinho then id rather change strategy and get the defence fully sorted. There's no use getting a different winger thats not as good or ideal fit.

I think id go get hincapie and get that lb and lcb position sown up for a few years. Hes a really good quality player and the release clause if true is decent value. We may not be as good in an attacking sense but if we can keep it tight at the back then we will need less goals.

Id just rather not go get a squad filler at lw and lack quality.

Yes i think its likely just games from city and a call to us to cough up and come get him if we are.
i get the feeling we've deliberately let this go cold since our last bid before we re-visit. City probably demanded a figure we weren't prepared to go to so we are tempering there expectations.
