A player is only worth so much, and for a player who Pep doesn't consider to be anything but third choice why would any club pony up thirty million pounds more than what his club paid for him a year ago?

This isn't an "opportunity" at all, it's paying well over the top for a twenty one year old unproven player at Premier League level.

The fact none of the big hitters have called off the Savinho deal makes me think Ballague was chatting shit.

He was never going to be a Spurs player before the City game though.
