That one person that put the X is probably signing up here as we speak after the ban
Apparently Milan were shopping him about a bit at the start of summer as they thought he could fund their window, don't think the player wants to leave Milan or reckon he would have already been snapped up, he reminds of Ronaldinho a lot in how he plays tbh, absolutely pisstakingly good player and would be an absolute dream, feel we could do it but would take a stirring offer on personal terms IMO, IDK what Romero has been put on but likely north of that to get him out of Milan.Pity Leão is also not for sale. I know he's a bit of a 'Lazy Player' according to some, but he's got Kudus like ability. Would be Awesome to have both of them in the Squad.
That whole situation is completely fucking stupid tbh, only we could turn getting a relatively talented player as depth on a free into such a monumental clusterfuck of a situation where he was loaned out last season because of his injury issues, only to then be virtually ever-present for Leeds, replaced with a player who then spent most of the season injured, and agreed to a grossly inflated loan fee for his replacement/depth signing virtually tying Levy's hands as he either had to agree some form of deal for Tel or write off £8m for possibly the most expensive and underwhelming loan in PL history.
And the most stupid fucking thing about all of it is the player we got first, and for free, is probably the most talented footballer of the three of them based on last season's showing and his time at Fulham.

Everyone is for sale.Pity Leão is also not for sale. I know he's a bit of a 'Lazy Player' according to some, but he's got Kudus like ability. Would be Awesome to have both of them in the Squad.
Love me some Taylor but was hoping for a bit ofThe Extra Mile(sey) Funky Karaoke

Also very typical Spurs that he is still our player nearing the final week of August despite having arrived on a free and a deal to sell him being seemingly the most easy thing in the world to do, feels like a Chavs or Pool would have had him shifted before the loan even concluded. But just think, everytime we loan him out we get a couple million loan fee! That adds up over 2 or 3 years before a sale.

Savinho is not worth 70m, thats right. And yes any figure above 60m you would be counting as a big risk on potential. But there's many factors that come into play when trying put a value on a players head.
Savinho HAS had a fantastic season as one of the best attackers in la liga for girona and put the ball in the net plenty, assisted plenty, and terrorised defences.
His first season at city was on the most part very successful for such a young player settling into England. Only 1 goal scored but city's highest assister and more than held his own. If he had come to the pl and looked terribly like Antony then fair enough but he coped physically, and impacted games he played in. IF had had bagged say 10 goalscwith those assists then we would be laughed out the park for trying to buy savinho from city.
Essentially he is a player that is just 21, having a big impact in the pl and primed to take off statistically.
That Essentially is what we're are looking to pay for.
City buying him from there sister club for around 30m is the same as doue or barcola moving to psg for around 50m euros and look how they have developed. We are essentially trying to intercept midway before he skyrockets because we saw a slightly unhappy player and an opportunity to steel in and grab a potential future world star.
Most spurs fans look at odobert and think hes got big potential, well savinho is that but next level. His touch, 1v1 take ons, dribbling, ball manipulation and crossing is elite for his age. If and when he adds the goals (and he will) then he becomes a player valued over 100m and more easily.
He is like the opposite to johnson. If somebody tries to take him from spurs we would want 60m for the goals he scores but as we know he offers very damn little else.
I hope we pay the money. We've all seen how frank has developed attackers brilliantly before and giving him a player like this with the ceiling and raw ability he has is crazy exciting.
50, 60 or 70m i couldn't give a toss tbh as its a player I wanna see at spurs for years to come. Theres next to no alternatives.

... and a brand new left winger
What an odd thing to do
