Hang on tbf the comparison was about how Liverpool got everything done early when in actuality the deals for Guehi and Isak have dragged on longer than anything we've done/are doing.
In an interview with Levy's son 'Hairless not Heirless', he claimed that his dad had written him out of his will because he paid full price for a copy of the Big Issue.
He also implied that his dad had sold his hair at auction and it was the highest bid of the day, but Daniel was standing next to him when he said it.

Liverpool won the title last season, we finished 17th.
Our squad is in much, much worse shape than theirs and out of all of the “top 6” clubs we probably required the most surgery (moreso than United because we have UCL football which I imagine we don’t want to end in January).
Our squad depth is abhorrent.
You’d have to be pretty fucking obsessed to complain after a summer like that.
At this point Levy is doing his usual of spending any goodwill from the fans after positive results.
