It's called the law of large numbers. We got lucky. Glorious, but fortunate.

Havertz got injured yesterday and Woolwich have already agreed a deal for his replacement. Maddison got injured 3 weeks ago and we couldn't get a deal done. It's soul-destroying what that prick is doing to this club.

This is the key fucking part of true about the scum.

We had a clear shot at the player for literal weeks. And have fucked about and and argued over payment structure and addons they get it done in 5 hours.

Hate to say but they ambition we don't get the bald fraud out

Anyone else think humiliating Richarlison isn't a good look either. Then getting told to fuck off anyway. Seriously Admin Admin I begging you DO NOT allow pathetic threads started about players we haven't officially signed. Its ridiculous. Please just delete them when some feeble gets over excited
Agreed and it sums him up completely. Saw the extra possible pound signs and everything down the toilet at the expense of it.

An absolute fucking cancer on this club.

Some fans will blame Eze and palace but this is on levy. If the club you support comes in for you he's always going to choose them.

It’s on Eze as well. You don’t play these 2 fanbases against each other.

He seems a nice kid but he will have earned all the ill feelings coming his way.

He was fine before because they chose not to go after him. Now they came back for him and he’s gone crawling back to them like a desperate puppy.

Pretty obvious the stalling this week has been from Eze and Palaces side. Eze has been twerking for Woolwich all summer. I think it was their intention to hijack our move all along once we got to the point of agreeing a fee, and maybe if they were on the fence about it before Havertz injury, they definitely decided to do it once they got news it was serious.

Timing aligns. They probably spoke to Eze on Monday or yesterday and said hold up, we are coming in for you.

Fuck Eze he clearly never really wanted to join us.

That does not make me any less pissed off with how we are run. Levy is a useless cunt. It’s unforgivable how we haven’t yet signed a number 10 or a left winger.

Our team looks nowhere near ready with a huge lack of quality in attack. We look mid table quality.

And what hurts so much is Woolwich have just make their squad so much stronger, Eze barely even starts for them. And we have holes everywhere in our attack

Eze didn’t want to come - simple as - he knew scum were in the background and was just a matter of them waiting to know what the deal was before they stepped in . Levy dragged this out cos it made him look like we were a serious club but knowing full well , like Savinho the player was never going to come .
How the fuck does cock up after cock up make us look like a serious club?

Ffs they've just bollocksed up a huge move for the second time this summer in full view of the entire footballing world, would you lot stop making up this nonsense that it's part of some nefarious plan!

It's incompetence pure and simple, not malice.

Simons would be top choice over pretty much anyone including Eze but he only wants Chelsea (big red flag).

Akliouche, on paper, looks a better option than Eze, IF, he can replicate his play in the PL as he is a more progressive passer.

Nico Paz would be next best choice IMO.

Then there is El Khannouss, who could surprise a few people.

Then there are players we haven't even been linked too such as Ben Seghir and Rodrigo Mora (not a progressive passer and only 18 but already insanely good).

We should sign Savinho in addition to one of the above.

akliouche looks a better option on paper than Eze? On what planet?

Over 90% of purchases are paid for in instalments - the most common seems to be equal instalments over 5 years

The few purchases of players paid for in one amount is typically to activate release clauses - mostly for players in countries such as Spain where release clauses are mandatory.

Hope that helps you understand the issue better
I understand players are bought over time. But Levy always insists on his terms and conditions. I bet you still excited by Levy's terms considering we not getting Eze now.

Which Game Changing players have we actually managed to get over the line this window? None. Kudus doesn't count cause no one else was willing to take the risk of buying him. Paulinho doesn't count cause he's still on line.

Levy has haggled with every player we wanted but was to happy to fork out for Tel. What an idiot.
