Can we now agree that we have the most incompetent chairman in the premier league, two open goals missed in MGW & Eze, only Levy could miss such sitters. It's the same story every transfer window , it's last minute dot fucken com and almost time to grease the wheels of the imaginary wheelbarrow full of cash.
It will take at least two more signings of monumental status between now and the end of the window to cover up this mess, I wouldn't be holding my breath.

Why didn't they buy him earlier? They've had all window?? They got desperate, and are making desperate moves. Fair fucks.

Those saying we should have paid the release clause or we should have moved earlier, maybe, just maybe, Eze wasn't interested earlier because of other interest. When it didn't materialise he became more open.

I'm no Levy fanboy but I don't really blame him for this, or MGW. Jack Grealish 7 years ago, definitely, this, not so much

On the contrary I think our squad is fucking miles off both those sides and that's what makes the lack of investment this summer all the more damning, Chavs will be held back by Maresca but I think they'll roll the dice on a new manager next summer and might well put it together the following season, they've come out of that gargantuan spending spree largely smelling of roses bar one or two duds, the really important mega money signings have worked out very well in Caicedo and Fernandez and they've had enough hits at good value to offset the big money misses like Mudryk and Nkunku, I think they are locked in for top 4 next few seasons.

Woolwich if they get Eze are going to be reaching City/Pool levels of piss taking depth. Not a lot between Madueke and Kudus in ability IMO and Martinelli is clearly better than anyone on our left side and those are depth players for Woolwich. Only area they aren't falling back on very good players as cover now is probably CB. Their big issue has been overloading minutes of key players the past few seasons and my concern is now they can essentially field a competitive top 4 second XI.

Now that I’ve calmed down.
As far as Eze is concerned fuck him he obviously wants them.
Levy is a dickkead for allowing this situation (and MGW).
When Palace started pissing about needing him against the Dog and Duck we should have either told them to do one.
There are other players (ones who actually want to play for us)

Is Levy's plan to win the Premier League by falling so far behind the other teams. I mean, he hasn't got much right as a Chairman unless you like bricks, money, and concerts.
