Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It’s so funny how people give me stick for not crediting Levy with the things he gets right

It’s law of averages FFS , even this little arsehat can’t get absolutely everything wrong over 25 years . Even if you deliberately try to fuck everything up over 25 years chances are a few deliberately bad decisions might work out better than you hoped .

In my opinion he has now without doubt proven to me at least any decent football outcome Levy has been involved in is pure luck .

So no if by some miracle he gets out of his latest self inflicted debacle I won’t be praising him .

Why ?

Because it’s not by design or strategy it’s scrambling and getting lucky

You just know there will be someone in our transfer department currently thinking about a cut price deal for Jadon Sancho.

Levy has to accceot that he now needs to pay well over the odds due to his mistakes. But he needs to swallow his pride, put his principles aside, and pay whatever ti takes to get Savinho and a decent #10 into the club by next week.

Savinho plus one from Rodgers, Akliouche, Paz, El Khannous would still represent a decent window, and give us a chance of competing this season.

The annoying thing is that Frank has already shown he can be trusted with a big squad full of talented players. He will not ignore 'club signings' or play the same 11 every week. He will rotate and adapt, and use all the tools at his disposal. Yet aleady Levy has not backed him properly. Incredible.

Danso and Tel are back up squad players not first 11 players , that’s the difference . We’ve added one player to the team that finished 17th and at the same time sold Sonny ( correct decision) lost Madison for the season and kulu for months . We are in a much worse position .

Danso is not a first XI for us because we have Romero. Danso probably walks in to most top teams in PL. I mean he would be Chelsea or United or Newcastle or Villa's best CB.

Danso is a proper good signing. No question about it

For a supposedly astute negotiator, Levy got his pants pulled down proper on this one, and he only has himself to blame if he didn’t ready any plan Bs.

Maybe it is the case that he’s truly thick-skinned levels beyond anyone else, but it’s such an embarrassment for him, and especially among his peers.
Him being an astute negotiator on player transfers is an absolute myth that has been proven time and time again.

He's once again getting laughed at in the press and the entire footballing world.

However, he is very talented at paying himself the highest wage he possibly can and rinsing every last penny out of the long suffering fans.
