His first priority will be securing the services of the people whose job it is to tell loyal Spurs fans that things are going exactly to plan and to stop the melting . You can pick between 1 and 2. Our ‘transfer team’ doesn’t have the skills, ideas or gumption it takes to do deals for players like Savinho.
We’ll likely end up with someone like Dibling, who is too young to really make a huge impact now, may or may not be any good in a few years, plays in a position we don’t need someone for, but will still command a high fee for no real reason.
Have you not read the many posts saying we overpaid for Solanke. Whilst many say pay the money, many say we overpay for players as well.
