Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Stop the Horse Shit. We knew Eze had a release clause of 68 million. If we wanted him, pay the clause and take him. But Nooooo.....Levy had to try to skim a few million off the deal. Story of this club. I've supported Spurs for 40 years. Levy has always been a bargain hunter. Doesn't want Eze, Savinho or any other Game changer in because the wage bill will be higher.
As we found out with Gibbs -White. Release clauses don't mean that much.

what doesn’t kill makes you stronger.
It doesn't though, does it?

We've had two competitive games so far this season, a couple of weeks til the window shuts, we've been publicly humiliated in two transfers that we really should have just got done and the squad which finished 17th last season has only been bolstered by Kudus while still having Deki and Madders out long term and losing Son.

This does not make us stronger.

I like Ricky and understand why he’s angry like we all are. He’s hurting and so are we all. But we never had a free run at Eze. He’s fundamentally wrong and he is just not getting the logic of how transfers work.

Eze always wanted Woolwich. End of

If Eze’s family do still have that box at WHL, they need that taken off them.

Like I said last night, he seems a nice kid but he’s needs learn actions have consequences. His family may have been Spurs before but they will hear all sorts about him now.

I'm sure he did and they were obviously his preference, but he would of came here had Havertz not got injured.

We weren't in talks for nothing.

I never truly believed we were gettin Eze. The whole deal has had a half hearted approach to it all window and even b4 that. There was a time when we played Palace and pictures were floating around of the Eze family being shown around and enjoying the game from a Spurs box, and im pretty sure that was the season b4 last.....
Been flirting with him for ages and if he was ever a true target, he would have been wrapped up over a year ago. Weather we tried to low ball him wages wise or he just plain didnt want to join us, i never felt like it was happening, and if it did, it was never our or his 1st choice. Now stick that red shirt on you gooner C**t and wait for Djed to put you in his pocket

They've won fuck all in over 5 years.

Good for you mate. You’re clearly not a PL player. Do you really think people think Europa League winning Spurs are more attractive than Woolwich?

They finished 2nd three times in a row and we finished 17th. Players aren’t stupid. They saw us winning the Europa League as a fluke one off

Sometimes I think tribalism completely blinds fans to any logic or sense. Woolwich are miles ahead of us on the pitch ffs and players know it. For us to change that we would need to finish above them for a few seasons in a row and challenge for the title

I agree with all of that bar the forced to sell.

There’s nothing that can be done to force a sale. It will be on his terms at the value he considers fit. The fanbase throwing their toys out of their pram may force him into securing some transfers but IMHO it certainly won’t force him out.

Okay, fair enough - unlikely, and I am not saying the club would be better off of Levy wasn't here. That is not guaranteed one little bit. It would probably be years of difficulty and trauma, so let's be cautious in what we wish for.

I do however think the situation could get toxic and ugly if Levy fails to sanction 2 or 3 signings before this window closes. I think he probably knows that.

It reminds me of the Oscar Wilde quote - the unspeakable in full pursuit of the uneatable,"

Eze was not a target we could get. The club should have fcuking known that.

The fuck does that even mean. You're just proving my point, you silly sausage.
What point, cuck?
Levy has been played you...again.
You fell for it... again.

Your response? To throw a hissy fit in my direction.
Call me all the names you and your sock puppets can come up with. Come Saturday, Eze will probably be playing for Woolwich whilst you're busy stalking these pages🙄

In the meantime, i'm here for it.
Who are you going to moan to now?

Dibling is a very talented young player tbf. More promise than Archie Gray. stylistically he’s a young Grealish at Villa. The signing probably isn’t ideal just because of position and stage of development but he will be a very good player.

Think in a year or two he will make some of the Dibbling posts look very silly.
