At risk of sounding like a broken record but who gives a fuck about €70m when the kid is probably on about €2m a year. You can triple his wages and the total cost of the transfer will be less than Eze.
Exactly this. I said close this thread 3 days ago as there will be no more incomings . This is it. This is our squad untill next summer . It’s not good enough to be where we want ( as is always the case ) but it’s what we’ve got. Just gotta hope that our new manager can try and make us competitive in the domestic cups , sadly we we won’t be doing much in the league again

He passes the eye test but yes stats wise he wasn't great. Based on what I've seen I think he has massive potential and if reports are true that Frank wants two number 10s then him at 30 odd million is definitely worth it (with a wide player who can also play centrally as the second signing).

Counting Tel is kind of wrong there as well. He was here last season, he adds nothing extra to the squad for this season.

Then enquire about Morgan Rogers and make it fast. If Villa say he's not for sale or demand over 100m then instantly move on. Don't spend a week on it. See if there is any chance of them selling him for less than 80m and then move on if not.
Then have a list of targets - paqueta, paz, etc and move on them straight away.
I'm also not against the idea of immediately hijacking that Leicester player from Palace just as a fuck you to Parish. But tbh we don't need him. I'd rather we just go all out for Savinho and then go for a ready now midfielder. But we got to start acting faster and with more urgency. Lange needs to stop taking holidays!

There is nothing wrong with Dibling per se. He looks more talented than El Khannouss and is 3 years younger. If our squad was full of quality and he was seen as an investment for the future then fine. But £40m/£45m for another promising winger? We already have 3 wingers 20 and younger, we signed Kudus for the right hand side. It would just be another ill thought through, want to be seen to be doing something signing. Then Levy and co can point to our high net spend without acknowledging that we've not improved the first team at all. We'd have basically swapped Son for Kudus.

I’m not saying just sign Dibbling. We need others obviously. But he will be a very good player. So much better than Tel, you just have to see how he receives the ball and travels with it. Great balance and ability. I really like him, still think it would be a good signing but we definitely have to do more on top, I agree
and thats why they'll start winning eventually. They just keep taking every step until they get there. We always look for short cuts and leave ourselves short. Even if we do find ourselves back in the mix, we'll always leave ourselves short.
