Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m not as keen on Akliouche as some of you are. Done a bit more research and I don’t really get it. He’s not a 10.

He seems like another Kulusevski. He doesn’t play in the middle at all, he’s strictly a RW and horrendously one-footed.

It isn't trying to feel better about a deal that wasn't made, but if you went back to last season most of Eze's scoring came in a relatively small number of games toward the end of the season. I suspect he'll do well on the counter and with a solid defense behind him maybe better than with Crystal Palace. But, if what Woolwich has gotten him for is to play winger I think he and they may ultimately find the results underwhelming. There's no putting a happy face on how badly Spurs were used or the underlying problems with Levy's negotiating style, but losing Eze is not a blow you can't recover from.

It’s probably one that the clowns in our transfer team can’t recover from though

he didnt make the first 11 against burnley? you aint being serious with that are ya! please tell me you aint being serious! you think pal was brought in to break down burnley!!!!
mate just give it up... Man City don't rest Rodri against Burnley, Woolwich don't rest Rice against Burnley, Liverpool don't rest Szoboszlai against Burnley... this is the PL, it's tough and you do not take any team for granted... so yes, I am deadly serious because as you point out, we are not a big club so we have to fight and scrap for the crumbs. You are tying yourself up here.

I’m no apologist for levy so I do think it is unfair that the media are portraying this as a fuck up from spurs. ( unless we lowballed)
If he really wanted to join the deal would have been done and he would have done his medical. We should not have to beg players to come here. This was never close to being done so perhaps palace and eze played us and strung us along.it would be nice if we came out and state what was and was not agreed.

Why is there no news of an offer today?

Who was target #3 at 10 and why have we not bid 60m?
Why have we not gone back to City with an improved Savinho bid?

That is how a proper club would react to this embarrassment. We're so limp.

We have signed Palhinha, Kudus and we will be signing at least one more excellent player this window.
Enjoy!
