I’m no apologist for levy so I do think it is unfair that the media are portraying this as a fuck up from spurs. ( unless we lowballed)
If he really wanted to join the deal would have been done and he would have done his medical. We should not have to beg players to come here. This was never close to being done so perhaps palace and eze played us and strung us along.it would be nice if we came out and state what was and was not agreed.
So, you're apologising for Levy then?

Palinha's first competitive match for us, 72 mins v possibly the best club side in the world, during which time we had the better of them. His shot came off the bar for VDV's goal, 1-0.

Maybe Franky Boy was resting him v Burnley for another massive test at a revived Pep City?

Are you a WUM by any chance?
Oh look, it's WVJ who thinks Palhinha is this seasons Ballon d'Or winner. Frank is prime Mourinho and Levy is a demi god... Sorry, not got time for you today... I'm busy doing nothing.

By all accounts, Spurs had their pants pulled down here. Eze and his agent used Spurs to negotiate the package and then informed Woolwich to match it. It was Woolwich all along and Spurs now look like absolute mugs, especially after the MGW fiasco.

Terrible situation for Spurs. Need home grown players and will now likely overpay for yet another mid level talent. Morgan Rogers or Harvey Elliot anyone?

No clubs want to deal with Spurs. And 1 man is responsible for that.

What a crock of shite.

One of the biggest clubs in Europe did four deals with Levy over the past three seasons.

We have signed Kudus and four others this Summer.

Woolwich had been negotiating this transfer window with Palace for Eze and did not put in their bid until the injury to one of their senior players.

The player was a life-long Woolwich fan and has chosen them, and Palace may have got a more attractive payment agreement with Woolwich.

You complain about Levy not spending enough on the Eze deal, yet then accuse him of overspending for "mid level talent".

I dislike Levy as much as anyone, but talking unfounded bollocks only make's you look stupid.

Levy’s football strategy of high fees and low wages is absolute suicide. We have spent so much money on mediocre players, we’d have been better off signing half the number of players and spending double on the wages. We’d have got far more quality.

How many world class players do we have to show for that €878m that’s been spent in the last 5 years? Newcastle have more quality than us and they’ve spent 200m less.

We dump £40m on mediocre players like its going out of fashion

Maghnes Akliouche and Nico Paz. 2 complete unknowns, anyone confident either of them will be a success here are just guessing. Dibling is a young prospect -fixes nothing short term!

I really couldn't give a shit at this stage which one of them 3 we sign.

how many Tel , odobert , gray , Richarlison , Ndombele , Lo Celso , sessegnon . That’s nearly £300m . We buy quantity not quality . We’ve reduced our wage bill enormously over that time aswell . Last year we wanted Neto or Eze and get odobert and tel , that’s sums it all up .
